    Other x Steelers getting cut

    OLB Malik Reed MIA

    James Washington IND

Jamir Jones legal issues, of which I don't want to know.

I hear Edumunds is in danger of getting cut.

And we know Bush has already been cut by Sea.

I knew Washington and Bush were bad draft picks and I felt we reached time for Edumunds.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

Washington is the one who surprised me. He got worse the longer he played. People bashed me when I said he was slow. He may have a decent 40 time but he had zero lateral moves off the line of scrimmage and struggled to get separation.

The only one on this list I would even think of bringing back is Edmunds. It would be understood at league minimum and depth only. He was serviceable but not great.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

I had high expectations for Washington, still believing the WR hype of the Steelers superior WR selecting (which has since proven false). I thought he was gonna be a real solid WR. I was wrong; he just never developed into a good WR. And it wasn't from lack of trying. He was given ample time to prove himself in Pgh.

I don’t think its been proven false. We still have a knack for drafting good WR talent.

Maybe for NFL minimum and Edumunds needs to play special teams like his job depends on it.

I think if he does get cut you stand a good chance of seeing him back. I think are safety depth is a little thin.

No even his 40 did not match the silly "next Mike Wallace" role they gave him. I never understood why we treated him like some kinda deep threat.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

because it's what got him and Mason drafted...

yeah, they tore it up at OKState AND they destroyed us in Heinz Field when they played Pitt.

This was mostly due to Narduzzi stubbornly leaving bad CB’s on islands to get burned for like 1100 yards passing in 2 games vs Mason. Made him look like a superstar.

I heard the Steelers tend to foolishly overate some QBs just because theyve seen them perform well in their stadium.
