Did we just watch the most perfect preseason EVER?

Yes the games don't count.

First team offense scores EVERY drive
First team defense forces 3 and out every drive.

Even THE SPECIAL TEAMS look better than I have ever seen.

Returns have NEVER looked so exciting, coverage is nice, even OUR FAT PUNTER who our first team never needed, had outstanding
punts.

We end the preseason games relatively injury free.

THE MOST IMPORTANT PLAYER HAS A PERFECT QB RATING.

Yes it is just preseason. Yes the games dont count.

But it is all we have and I have never seen a team have such an absolutely perfect preseason.

Hard to imagine it going better for the first teamers.

It's minor because of how we scored so frequently with explosive plays, but I would have liked to see the 1st team play in the red zone since passing there was a big issue for us last year.

I guess at least we finally got something of a red zone experience because the explosive pass only got us down to the 1 yard line?

But that's just picking nits. Lots to be excited about going into the season. And KP is at the top of the list of exciting things. Which is was we'll need to compete for more than just getting into the playoffs.

Not sure how anyone can watch and have something negative things to say.

Can’t wait for week 1 to see how we execute vs a good defense.

It looked good at camp. It has looked very good in the pre-season. Just have to realize we have not been playing against Ravens 1st team or Bengals 1st team or Chiefs 1st etc.
Long season ahead but each week we'll learn more and 49er's will be a rough challenge week 1 and we'll know more after that game. If we can throw punches with a team that good we'll know a lot more about ourselves.

pretty sure most remember, but it wasn’t with the one’s and most complained it was mostly check downs.

Actually, didn’t he have a game winning drive last preseason and a successful 2 minute drive.. which we also saw him do late in the regular season?

This year we watched Pickett have 13.3 air yards per pass and TD’s on every drive. Its still preseason but like someone else said… its much better to have optimism based on what we watched this year vs a pedestrian preseason and wondering if the offense has improved.

I am awaiting the season opener with cautious optimism.

As the great philosopher, Allen Iverson said a few years ago" It's just practice man, you're talking bout practice man". So let's feel good but don't expect more then possible. We play the 49'ers and they are ranked in the top 5 of everybody's power rankings.

That is when and why I jumped on the bus my friend. I said he was clearly clutch. Regular season proved that correct.

Im not making guarantees but Im not dismissive that this success is worth legitimate excitement

I said TWICE it is just preseason. Doesnt mean we dont have reason to be VERY EXCITED over this preseason.

have to remember after Kenny’s first INT people were quick to jump on his weak arm. Then the slow start had folks asking if the board missed Ben.

There is still a decent amount of people who are skeptical of Kenny.
