I’ve always said 3 years as a full time starter and Kenny will reach a SB. So my prediction is year 4 will be Kenny’s window but I would not be surprised one bit if this year he takes a gigantic leap in that direction.
Why do I have this gut feeling?

That sure sounds like winning a playoff game prediction: doubt it.Comment

This is completely the mindset that I have as well... I think they *could* exceed expectations. Frankly, they did a little better last year than I expected.
Apart from overall team health, Pickett's growth drives this team's potential for the next couple of seasons. I also believe that by the end of this season, we'll know if he's the guy or not.
These days, by the end of year 2, QBs start to show who they'll be long-term.
I like it...
But here's the way I'm looking at it:
I'm comparing KP's growth chart of this year (KP's 2nd year) to what Trevor Lawrence was doing last year (his second year) Jacksonville...follow me now...
Last year in Jacksonville, they got competent coaching last year in Peterson and added a couple of weapons in Kirk and Engram. And then we saw significant growth for TL.
This year, We've upgraded our O-line, added a TE weapon. We already have WR's in place and RB's. So I'm thinking that KP will have significant growth as well.
Now...the major difference now is Offensive Coordinator; Peterson is a legit head (put together his on SB team) coach and OC. Peterson is one of the better Offensive minds in the game today.
So.....the pieces are in place for KP like they were put in place for TL last year. IF KP doesn't have significant growth, then maybe we don't have the right OC in place to maximize the talent we have. It may not be on KP as much as it is on Canada.
This is the way I see it as of right now.Comment
