    N. Herbig Shining Early in Camp

Would have had two sacks. OK, it's unpadded and against a third string guard but that's just details.

Heard similar stories. For some reason, I feel like a lot of people are really rooting for him and Trice.

His quickness is really intriguing and I keep wondering if they can use him on the inside.

That quickness is what elevated Highsmith's game. One of the fastest get offs in the league.

He reminds me more of Sutton Smith who I once had high hopes for but seemed to be just too small and couldn?t cut it.

I think Herbig is a little bigger and might be able to add some size, but he?s one of those smaller guys that?s gotta be a bit of a long shot.

Highsmith had the size, the quickness, and the hustle. I?d argue he was a complete natural without super athleticism. His work going after the ball last year got him over the hump toward being great.

I see your comparison a little but Her if doesn?t quite have the size.

I also have zero doubt that some are hoping he fails to advance their narrative

Got rid of one bro. set, had to replace it. Funny how no one has signed Watt who we were paying $3.5 mill for. Who was so stupid to OK paying him so much? The brother whisperer. That really helped the team....NOT.

We had a great draft and rookie free agent period in 2023.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

                        Really? Sutton Smith?

You know you could have also said he is a little small, not the longest arms like?

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

                        TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

                          Ha.

I liked Smith and thought he had all the potential in the world. He really does remind me of him coming out.

Big motor and high energy guy. But a little small.

I hope he turns out like Lloyd.

Truth be told I was high on Smith too. I think Smith timed better but Herbig PLAYS quicker/faster. And is stronger too.

Lloyd didn't even tip the scales at 230 LBs. 220-something. But his speed, natural instincts and bad @ss 'tude more than made up for his lack of size.
