I mean Ive seen a lot of QBs come and go. There is nothing special about Stroud. He like many QBs has a nice arm and the ability to hit wide open blazing fast WRs against college DBs. But I have to agree with Chuck. I call his leadership and his ability to navigate the pressures of said leadership. He lacks that IT. I havent liked him from day 1 as being the starter for the Buckeyes and told my dad the Buckeyes can?t win a National title with him. I will say he outplayed my expectations against Georgia but I just don?t see it. I do think if any succeed from this class it will be Young.

I will always be skeptical of a QB from Ohio State or Alabama. Too much talent on those teams. Does the QB ever have to carry the team?

Porter is very stout at the LOS. His initial pop is very disruptive especially to smaller quicker WRs. He can cover step for step with bigger WRs and disrupt smaller WR timing.

I agree. He seems to be able to play against big, strong WR's, but also doesn't allow smaller, quick jitterbug WR's to get away from him and they rarely get off the line of scrimmage when he's in their faces. He seems like he is built to play in the NFL as a press corner, but he also showed he could play off coverage very well. I can't wait to see what he can do.
