6 years sans playoff wins not OK with TJ either

At this point in his Hall of Fame-caliber career, Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt has accomplished all that there is to accomplish in the

He ain't cool with it at all.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

The KC game 2 years ago was the first time I heard Watt’s name called in his 3 playoff appearances.

For all his greatness I do believe he has the all time career record for high career playoff average allowed by a Steeler defender of multiple playoff games. Think about it.

Of COURSE he is not happy with that as he should be.

In my mind, a good season for this team is to make the playoffs as a wildcard and face the Bills/Chiefs (or whoever the 2-seed is)... I just don't see that game ending well for us.

His last playoff appearance wasn't worth the salary he was paid. I don't think he got close to the QB in that game.

No one is OK with it.

But no one has a time machine either...although I don't think anyone has seen Jigawatts in a while.

I know it's easy to forget because it seemed like the offense strategy was "don't make this the worst game of Ben's career", but TJ got a sack, a fumble rec, and a DTD in his last playoff game. It's the only reason the game was somewhat close in the first half.

I agree that his playoff performances before that were not up to the standard he set with his regular season performance.

Although I personally think he should get a pass for the Jax game. He was a rookie. And the reason he lasted as long as he did in the draft was because he was raw coming into the league.

I'm sure there were many complaining that he was a cutsie brother pick when he was selected.

I don't remember if I posted this or not (but if I'm honest, I'll tell you that I post way too much on here), but I personally wondered about the wisdom of taking a raw kid in the first round because he had his brother's last name.

He wasn't TJ yet in year 1.

But he was in the Browns game...where he did very little.

Everything depends on Canada/ KP now. If their better, we got a shot to make the playoffs. If it's more of what we saw last year, we won't be in the playoffs.

I think you are mixing up the Cleveland and KC game.

Watt was a beast in the 1st quarter vs KC (his last playoff game). Too bad our offense didn’t get past the 50 until midway through the second half.

You're right. My bad. PIT-CLE game, which by the way is the one playoff game I can comfortably say that Tomlin was outcoached (on defense anyway). It was a frustrating game to watch

But it's enough of a problem that he came out and said it. Kudos for keeping it real, TJ.

Where are your Yinzer pants? Of course we will do well week 1 of the playoffs, this team is stacked, more than ANY team in the AFC!

I honestly can say it went how I thought it would; Cleveland was on a high, and Pgh was dysfunctional. I didn't expect the first snap F--k up though by Pouncey. Can't say I saw that coming.
