This is usually a good indicator of where they are going primarily in the draft. Like the OL guys. Let's get this thing fixed and make it a strength.https://steelersdepot.com/2023/03/20...cker-updating/
can't copy and paste anything from the article.
lots of DBs, tons of OLComment

Is it? Who did we draft that we meet with last year? If anything its who did not meet with ( publicly ) that was drafted. Tomlin has dinners with lots of guys. Apparently he likes dinner.Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.
Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.
*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***Comment

Isn't there also some rule that players from within a certain radius of your team don't count to the formal meetings (or maybe that's invites to your facility if that's different?)Comment

yes. But those are official visits I believe
these combine meetings are different. Quick 15 min interviews the teams request at the combine.
I think the official visit count is 30. But doesn’t count for anyone local.
either living nearby or going to school nearby.
I believe it’s within the boarders of Pennsylvania but it m not 100 % sure.
these are more like formal interviews with the player(s) coming to PittsburghLast edited by NJ-STEELER; 03-08-2023, 10:22 AM.Comment
