Plus, the team would have to move a new coach into town, eeee gads that's some unnerving stuff. At least to Art II. Better to stick with the apathetic 18 PPG then to switch to an OC ringing up almost 27 PPG.

Problem with the deadcows is that have a choking QB ,a sub par head coach and a meddlesome GM/owner (jerry jones)

A lot of people seem to think Steelers management missed on Moore.
I hadn't even read anything on it with concern to the Steelers before I posted this.

They have the NFC Tomlin as HC. Is McCarthy coming back then?

Probably as good or better than us keeping our OC the last couple years.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

Not only is he coming back; He's going to take over the offense!! McCarthy is going to be bounced for sure after this up coming season.

if only the Cowboys would have fired McCarthy earlier, they would have won many Super Bowls like the Packers did after they fired McCarthy and the Dolphins did after they got rid of that bum Don Shula.

                oh wait...

Guys like dak and buckwheat in Baltimore get a lot of OCs fired or changed.
That’s what happens when your wb struggles when throwing the ball

Let this sink in: Art II chose to stick with Canada (18 PPG) over someone like Moore (27 PPG). Is it any wonder we haven't truly contended in over a decade with decisions like this? It's the Rooney rule of "Slow and slower is the way to go."

Like I just said in another thread, Tomlin is just a sympton of the problem; the cause of the problem is we've got an owner who's lost touch. Similar to Halas as he got old and held the Bears back for decades. Gentleman, brace yourselves because we are not winning anything , anytime soon regardless of what happens because our owner is still living in the 1980's.

                          first Shula, now Halas

how much success have the Bears had since he passed? lmao

and how many SB’s did the Phins win when they finally moved on from Shula?

Can’t you just put it in your sig instead of repeating it over and over for the last 3 days in every post?

if only George Halas had died earlier.

and if only the Dolphins would have gotten rid of that bum Don Shula earlier, just look at how many Super Bowls they have won since.

Do we still not send any scouts west of the Mississippi? I need someone to confirm that. Do we still have the smallest scout dept. in the NFL? And Art thinks he's doing all he can do to produce a contender? LMFAO.

                                that's not true anymore.

Steelers scouts are at the East-West Shrine game which is being played tomorrow at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
