Amazing that Shanny takes heat here for reaching the NFCC with a 3rd string QB and finishing the game with no QBs, while Tomlin's bust is carved for going 8-8 with his 2nd string QB in 2019.

It's just desperate comments. Last 4 years,

Shanny, 3 NFCC visits, 1 SB visit, 6-3 playoff record (all with average QBs at best)

Tomlin, 2 one-and-done appearances with a HOF QB by his side.

Plainly obvious who has been better in recent years, but it's a hard thing for some to admit. I'm not sure why though. One can still be a fan and know their coach is not better than another.

Goes to show you the desperate attempts by the TTTers to detract from any coach in modern day pro-football who is doing things better than Tomlin. Pretty pathetic.

49ers fought through injuries at the most important position on the team to reach the NFC championship game (3 NFC Championship appearances in the last 4 years) and you got cornballs belittling that.

That does not matter in a game where Purdy was hurt very early, and his back up was hurt. The NFL botched a call on 4th down when the score was 0-0 and the Eagles went on to score a touchdown. Hurts is mostly along for the ride. When Hurts was injured in the games before, his back up came in and ripped Dallas a new one. Hmmm...

Last I checked, Hurts has two thousand yard receives.

Go look at the real QB's that could run only and were fake passers ( V.Young, M. Vick, T. Tebow, C. Kapernick, K.Stewart, L. Jackson) ....................

They didn't.

Cause they were clowns who couldn't pass and could only hit the TE's consistently because of their lack of down field passing skills. It's common knowledge throughout the defenses in the NFL that Lamar Jackson can't pass and especially outside the hashmarks.

I'm a NFL lover and the refs were defiantly partial for the Chiefs. It's the story the fans want. Cincy was screwed. The refs really screwed the Saints yers back. They aren't very popular nationally either.

If that be the case then why did the Bengals win last year?
I just think that the Bengals O-line weakness was finally exploited by someone smart enough to exploit it. That caused a lot of penalties too for them. I saw a couple of no calls on the Bengals side as well that didn't get called too so I'm not ready to buy the narrative that the league wanted the chiefs in the game because of national popularity of Mahomes.

Hopefully, it will be a good game against the Eagles. But the Eagles seem to be the most physical team in football..and their healthy too. Mahomes is really going to have to work some magic to win this one. But if he does, he's a (in his prime) locked in HOF.

It's a crappy way for the game to end...but I don't think they can not call that roughing call. He was pretty far out of bounds. It was a really, really stupid decision by the defender.

I think that overcoming bad calls / no calls is part of what you have to do when you're the lower seed and playing away.

I think it's also one of the big advantages of a really engaged / loud crowd. I think there's little chance that doesn't play a role in refs decisions subconsciously.
