Purdy made some nice throws but mostly to open guys, floated a couple and had at least two INTs dropped. I think his run ends with a resounding thud in Philly

      SO MANY POINTS!!!!
Every team that wins a Super Bowl usually has one low-scoring game in their run. They also have high-scoring games. You have to be able to win in a variety of ways in this league to reach the ultimate goal.

The Steelers would need to win 4 games by holding the opponents under 17 points, and the opponents would all have to be non-playoff teams.

      Therein lies the rub.

Purdy's YAC/att was almost 5 yds this season. KP's less than 3. That is a huge gap. When a team has studs like CMC, Deebo, Kittle, as well as a seasoned OC it can look unbeatable. They remind me of some of the good Steeler teams with their strong defense and talented offense.

Again a QB in his 8th start vs the best front 7 in the NFL, so I'm not sure what more needs to be seen. He hit a number of tight window throws on the money, and according to PFF, zero turnover worthy plays with the ball out in less than 3 seconds average time.

No.. therein lies the lie, lol.

We have no idea how single elimination games will unfold.

Everyone was on the Bills wagon talking about all the points they score and how you can only win scoring a ton of points.

actually a bit more satisfying than I expected seeing Josh Allen and his bandwagon fans get dragged at home. Diggs had a lot to say to Allen and the OC/QB coach at the end of the game.

And you're hypothesis seems to be if Cincy can hold them to 10, so can the mighty Steeler D.

And again, you fail to realize that Joe Burrow driving his team up and down scoring points was the main reason why Josh and the Bills went one dimensional.

I think it's going to be a Niners-Bengals SB. This time I think the Bengals actually win, once again QB position burns the Niners. The Niners-Eagles game is going to be a real slugfest, Eagles could definitely win it but I don't trust Hurts at all tbh, at the same time the Niners have a rookie QB who has looked shaky at times and is being insulated by probably the best offensive system in the NFL currently. So who knows. I just want the Niners not to win a SB and for the Chiefs to lose as well, that is all.

Some analysts had him ranked to go in the 2nd round of the draft. Why he slipped isn't clear although some said he 'lacked ideal height'. His profile noted 'split second decisionmaking', and it shows.

Exactly….. feltdizz cherry picking games to prove wrong scenarios again. Sad.

yes.. we could hold them to a lower score than 30+ points which is what you and others claimed was needed to beat them.

Point is you and a few others kept insisting you have to win shootouts.

My point has always been keeping the score low is the best way to win games. Cincinnati showed it in 2 playoff games. It wasn’t because they scored a ton. Its because they held opponents to low scores and the defense basically won the Rats game with a 14 point swing.

Joe Burrow threw for 209 yards and 1 TD
                      vs the Rats.

This wasn’t about scoring a ton of points. Maybe KC and Cincinnati is the shoot out you all predicted but I think Cincy’s D will keep the score low again.

I don’t think 49ers are going to win. I don’t see their defense being able to stop eagles offense the way they did Dallas.

But I see Eagles defense making Purdy look the way he looked in the first half of the Dallas game.

It will be close enough but I think eagles get it done. Gonna be a good one.

cherry picks like using the 2 worst Steeler losses as proof they are awful instead of including the other 15 games they played?

                            Sometimes it comes down to a single AWFUL/GREAT play on whether a team advances in single elimination games;

I don’t see the 49ers getting past the Eagles. For some reason I think people wrote them off because they had a quiet December but they look healthy and primed for a W.

Not saying the 49ers can’t get them because they play great defense but if Dak was decent they win that game yesterday. Dak was shook.
