That was real stupid not to keep Chubbs the focal point of the offense; especially in the red zone. Only in the final game did they try and refocus to Chubbs.
they had a similar finish under D.Watson as our team had with KP.

Call me on it if i'm remembering the graphic on the screen wrong, but weren't they significantly better with him as a starter this year?

Not making the playoffs is nothing to celebrate.... but, "just missing the playoffs" (after THAT start) absolutely IS something to celebrate. It means the needle is pointed in the right direction... if I had my druthers, we'd just crown KC the champs NOW, then move on to free agency

There is stupid, and then there is just flat out moronic. Watson isn't making peanuts this year, the OL would have had not experienced any lack of funds from "Watson making too much," to be able to afford a quality OL. Your assertion is just chock-full of ignorance. Watson only made a smidge over $400k in 2022.

At least we don't have to feel this way:

"I honestly cannot remember being more down on a brown stains team than I am right now.

I’ve never been this ashamed and embarrassed. I’m sitting in a browns sweatshirt embarrassed to be wearing it.

Anyway, looking forward to next year!!"

              1. our lines will get upgraded this off-season.
              2. KP will be better if for nothing else..maturation alone
              3. Hoping the offense as a unit is better by the subtraction of Canada or some miracle of the offense being better WITH Canada.

and yet, you are on record celebrating not making the playoffs or winning a playoff game recently.

I know some REAL serious Browns' fans, who follow them closely. What they are telling me seems very bad for the team. They are telling me they are glad the season is over to relieve them from 3 hours of agony a week. Jimmy Haslam set up the locker room, for him to make a big entrance with the press waiting there, and he came in all angry to send a message to tell everyone how upset he was with the team - all pre-orchestrated, all phony BS. That's the kind of BS the owner deals in. It bleeds all through the team. Look at what Clowney had to say this week. And the coach will be back but a dead man walking. And on and on the cycle will go.
