I don't remember last year's summary but it was probably similar in that the Steelers overachieved to make the playoffs last year, and probably overachieved to have the same record and almost make the playoffs. But this year leaves optimism more for next season instead of doubt about whom they may draft and what to do at QB. I don't think it is as easy as you and probably some other people think it is to be as consistent as Tomlin has been.
People always have an excuse for why he won, Cowher's players; easy schedule etc, etc. But if it was as easy to have winning records year after year, then many more would have accomplished it.
