    Where does Najee stand?

249 rushes (5th most of any RB in the NFL) for 954 yards (13th most in NFL) for apc of 3.8. So, once again, he's near the top # of carries, but not very close to top yards. It's a good thing Art II laid the law down on Shades to lighten up NH's load a bit as I believe it has kept him somewhat fresher.

I do believe Warren has the possibility to become like Pollard in Dallas, where his productivity forced Jones hand in giving him more touches. He still has less carries than Zeke but has more yards. Pollard made the pro bowl.

13th rushing in the league isn't horrible, but I bet they'd like to see more out of Najee, like in that top cluster of Chubb, Henry, Jacobs, Barkley, Sanders and Cook.

They drafted him to be in that cluster. That’s for sure.

Najee has been running hard lately. Looks like he is getting back to 100%. Strong games the last 2 weeks and I expect another strong game to push him over 1000 yards. Just block and watch him continue to punish defenses at the second level.

Najee and Warren are a nice 1,2 punch. I don’t think Tomlin minds Warren getting more touches since they are on the same team and work well together.

Najee is a very good all around back.

While he doesn't have the ability to have those game breaking runs, he seems to be pretty consistent.

We won't be looking to replace him until the end of his contract (if even then). We have much bigger fish to fry.

He needs to build off the big game last week, which was his best by far this season. Need consistency out of him.

And with Warren we have the 2nd back you need to mix it up some. I'd like to see NH up his ypc a few ticks, like to something over 4; not asking for the world which would be over 5 ypc.

Najee will get better as the offense evolves.

The Steelers blocking is finally getting better and teams can’t load the box like they have been able to for the start of his career.

Najee has had some tough sledding to start his career and then on top of it, he’s had the injury that’s been tough on him this year.

I expect him to lead the league in yards from scrimmage next year.

I don't see him leading the league in yardage. Not against those top 5; he could sneak into the top 10 of yards from scrimmage but I don't see him doing much better than that. A top 5 RB would be real nice, but we can probably excel with a top 10 as long as Kenny keeps improving.

I don't see why he couldn't crack the top 5 in yardage, I would argue if he had started the year (healthy) like he is finishing the year he may have been in the top 5. It's not like anyone in the top 5 put up astronomical numbers.

The key to Najee's success lies in one stat that was posted last game. The Steelers RBs weren't being contacted until an average of 2.4 or 2.5 yards past the LOS. The effort has always been there. He just needed some help up front.

Najee isn't the solution for what ails the Steelers, but he's also not the problem. Good locker room guy, too. They can win with him, just need a better OC, OL, and another weapon or two.

Not his fault he was drafted too early, like the painters showing up at your new home when they're pouring the foundation.

You do? I think you're going to be disappointed.

Where Harris stands right now is a good question. He is trending as a splitting the backfield and obviously has his role and a pass catcher diminished. He is average 3.8 yards per rush, and 5.5 yard per pass, which is well below standards. I think he is easy to prepare for.

Warren has proved as rookie to be a solid back, better than Harris at least he is in some parts of the game.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

Some of us wanted Etienne jr for the draft and would have selected him over Harris. He's only has 1,100+ yards and a 5.5 on the ground with one game to go. He has 6 100 yards rushing games this season. He's a far better pass catcher too. Check his performance.

Etienne had 17 yards on 7 carries in a must win game last night. 0 receiving yards.

I like Etienne but thought he was a little too thin for the AFCN grind.

Anyone who watched his performance last night would not be impressed.
