Do you simply want to be a contrarian or simply believe it's easy to win? It's not about what I think. I listen to the pros. I watched the games. The Steeelers were in a battle every week. The Ravens were in a battle today. The Ravens loss to the 3-7 Jags last week.
I never thought of LJ as an All World QB. I've witnessed backups win games in the NFL. Backups can help teams to win games.
Watch games from week to week.
How can any fan deny that it is easy to win games in the NFL?
Poster child for this is the undefeated Pats, until the SB. The 9-7 Giants an easy WIN. What happened?
I watched the Steelers lose to an expansion team under Cowher.Last edited by BURGH86STEEL; 12-04-2022, 07:33 PM.Comment

I just think it's kind of odd for you to keep throwing out that statement as though it should provide an acceptable excuse for losing. Of course, winning is not easy; of course, it's going to require effort; of course, you're not always going to have the favored team win...that's why they play the games.Do you simply want to be a contrarian or simply believe it's easy to win? Let me share the wisdom of my old coach -- when someone complained that it was too hard to win, he told us that losers make excuses, but winners put in the work and find a way to make it happen.Comment

You can think it's ODD. The FACTS show it's not easy to win games in the NFL. It's not an EXCUSE FOR LOSING. It boils down to one's perspective. The people that do this everyday for a living told you this. Why would it be odd based on your experiences and observations?I just think it's kind of odd for you to keep throwing out that statement as though it should provide an acceptable excuse for losing. I look at games on a weekly basis. I've lived through the close losses of the Steelers. I witnessed how difficult it is to win in the NFL.
Look at the close scores on a weekly basis. Maybe it won't be odd to you then?
People that played or coached sports on any level know how difficult it is to win games.Last edited by BURGH86STEEL; 12-04-2022, 09:35 PM.Comment
