    Since The Bye Week

The last 3 games have us scoring 24.7 pts and giving up 21.3 pts. Not perfect, but that would have us ranked as the #10 scoring O and the #16 scoring D and across the board we're on the upswing.

Looking at the games before the bye, we were scoring 15 pts and giving up 24.6 pts. Those numbers would put us in the #31 ranking on O and #25 on D.

This is a big swing. From -9.6 pts per game to +3.4 pts.

All this and Kenny is still a rookie and TJ's been hurt and Minkah is coming back from an appendix and there's a number of other issues we're all aware of across the board.

If you take a step back from this, things are looking positive and I don't see why this team can't keep improving and run the table.

I know this sounds like Flippy world, but I'm feeling like Flippy world and reality are on the cusp of colliding.

It's as real as any dystopian anti-Steeler future being predicted by the "Negative Nancies" here. I don't know if people realize this: The future hasn't happened yet... The Steelers have to LEARN from their past... not live in it... People saying the Steelers have been coasting for a decade need to leave that sh-tuff behind them, just like they encourage CoachT to do... It doesn't take a west-coast degree to figure that out...

Our schedule was front loaded like crazy with good teams.

Would’ve been nice to win the Jets and Miami game.. and maybe even the NE game but “these are the breaks”

I think this was a season where the bounces didn’t go our way but next year we should see our “luck” improving in these close games.

We are battle tested tho, and hopefully we can steal a Rats game or 2 to end the season on a high note.

If the Steelers win in Atlanta, which they will, that sets up the season-defining game with the Ravens. Win that, they're legit back in the race, lose and they're likely not.

We’ve won the last 4 against the Rats so its definitely possible..

but its also been 4 games… which means eventually they are going to get over the hump.

Could definitely see another 4th quarter comeback because the Rats have been terrible at closing games out this season.

The offense has been much better.

And when looking at potential growth for the rest of the season, it's almost a good thing that we've probably left at least one TD on the field in each of the games since the bye. If we can get WRs to not drop what seem to be catchable balls and Kenny to make throws in the red-zone a bit better, maybe we see some games where we score 30.

Which is crazy since we were averaging half that in the first half of the season.
