My 15-year old son is getting disillusioned with the non-sportsmanship on the Dallas Cowboys, from Jerry Jones down to TO. He's seen how I've stuck with the Steelers through thick and thin, and I think he might be in the process of making an informed decision to become a Steeler fan! Of course he used to be one when he was knee high to a grasshopper, but as he got older, peer pressure took its toll. That's OK, I think it counts more now!

It hit home when I told him that the Steelers just don't get respect from the national media, mainly because they don't have all those Hollywood types. He said "You mean they are like the Spurs of the NFL?", and I said, "Yeah ..." (For those that don't follow basketball much, the Spurs have no media stars, they share the ball, look to pass before shooting, hard work ethic etc., he kind of hit the nail on the head).

Anyway, he's really into TP, and I was telling him about that backward tackle that one of us had as a sig a few months back. I went to youtube to look for it, but couldn't find it ... does anyone have a link or anything?

I think it was the Eagles game. It was the game he made that diving interception.

Not the one from a few weeks ago. I'm talking about the first sweet diving interception.

Find a video of the over turned interception against the colts.... That was simply amazing.... If that one doesn't get overturned, the one he had earlier this year is merely the 2nd best int of his life.

Ridiculous. I wish I had Troy's athletic ability for one day. I'd just go to malls/airports and run around diving over, through, around people for hours....

Highlights of that game (if you can call them highlights, since that was by far our worst game of the year) can be found here. Troy's interception is at about the 1:30 mark, but the backward tackle is nowhere to be found, unfortunately.

the backwards tackle was definitely earlier this season.

i'm not sure which game, but unquestionably, one of the most incredibly athletic plays i have ever seen!
