"What you talkin' bout Willis" not ready for prime time

We finally had a good prime time game last night: KC vs TN. It was good to the end, OT win by KC.

KC jumped to an early lead, but then TN got Henry crushing on the ground and their D stepped up.

But Willis never did. He looked inept. 5-16 for 80 sad yards. Mahomes tossed for 446. And yet, it was Mahomes running that led to a KC victory. TN had the KC O shut down until Mahomes started rushing the ball to get the game into OT and then won it on a FG.

But I fear Vrabel has beat into Willis head to resist rushing the ball too much. Had he been allowed to run more, I feel TN could have won that game. His passing surely wasn't going to make it happen. I feel Vrabel has handcuffed Willis with his pounding into his head to resist pulling the ball down and running sometimes. He did run 8 x for 40 yards, could have had more.

But as far as passing the ball, he obviously isn't ready.

Willis looked horrendous. He did himself no favors coming out. Another year or 2 of college ball would have helped hm tremendously. He is not ready, not even close. Maybe when Tannehill is back he can be used as a slash type or wildcat QB. He is not ready to start.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

I bet Willis is like Cam where he gets better the more he runs and plays his game.

      Last night, was terrible.

Yea, 80 yards passing doesn't work, even for a run 1st team. It's just awful. Pickett hasn't been good either, but better than this.

          Out of those 80 yards.
40/50 came from a screen pass and the TE (?) breaking free

He wasn't supposed to be. Should sit 1-2 years.

Gotta love their rushing game and D. An average QB is all they need most games.

That's not true in the NFL. Why? Because the only thing that matters is how teams perform on game day.
