    Will History repeat itself.

I like Kenny Pickett and hope he succeeds. Here is an interesting bit of history in the Steelers past. We are going into the Bye so just something to contemplate.

In the 1969 draft the Steelers selected Mean Joe with the 4th overall pick. There were 26 teams picking that year. With the 4th pick of the 2nd round(30th overall), the Steelers selected, hometown boy(Butler), Terry Hanratty. Of course the Steelers went on to have a bad season that allowed them to choose who in the 70 draft. Of course Terry Bradshaw.

My question going forward is, will history repeat itself and is there any QB out there worth a Top 3 pick. Just saying the Steelers have given up on a high round QB pick before.

There are 4-5 QB's that are suppose to go in round 1 this coming draft. If KP doesn't pan out to be what we expect, there's that option. Considering if we continue to lose games.

I think unlikely, but if we have a chance at Stroud or Levis...not sure you could pass on either of them. KP has done nothing to secure his future...yet

Believe it or not, I feel it is Kenny's propensity to speak the truth that may cause the team to go for another QB in this draft. If you speak out on the truth to how sloppy this team is being run, that will get you outed. Tomlin only wants "buddies" on this team. If you speak out the truth about how unbuttoned up the team is, he won't want you around.

As a Buckeye fan, I fear that Stroud will become the next Ryan Leaf. I don't think he has the mental makeup to accept failure, and if he comes to a bad Steeler team with bad offensive coaching, he's going to experience more of that in 8 games than he has in his entire life.

Levis needs to stay in college. Tennessee’s defense is not that good and they made Levis look silly.

Maybe he bounces back but he reminds
me of the QB at Boston College.

Could be wrong and he pans out but I would not spend a top 5 pick on him.

Now Hooker, that dude looks legit. Shredded the Bama defense and led the game winning drive with under a minute left to play.

I know people say you shouldn’t judge a QB by his helmet but.. I can’t. Just have this fear he is benefiting from all day to throw and huge windows.

Not just that, he bristled at criticism last year, citing his young age, when he was passing up open running lanes and failing to convert on passes, he scoffed that he's not a RB. He hangs his head after every INT, defenders can get him rattled with trash talk.

To the OP, the dopes at 93.7 The Fan are embracing an intentional tank job to do just that, making Kenny the scapegoat. Starkey actually said he'd sit Heyward and Watt to not risk them.

plenty of people on here want to rest Watt too. I think that’s crazy.
