    Honest question

Who in here truly believes the Steelers will win another Super Bowl with Tomlin as field general? I'll start by saying I believe not.

without ben, you should lower the bar to make the playoffs / win a playoff game

That too. However they could somehow back in at 8-8-1, you know ,non losing record.

if TJ doesn't come back. they would be lucky to win maybe 2-3 games

against the other dregs of the league. saints, carolina, browns

I'm thinking that non losing record in the future sometime . Certainly not this season.

Tomlin's time as a top tier coach with the Steelers has passed..

With that being said, MT will be here as long as he wants.

Never thought of it that way . Great point.

we would be stuck with 5 titles if this guy was able to bring in his own people when he wa hired.

the trash he's brought in here since is exhibit A

Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

Last week Tomlin gets completely out-coached by a rookie HC and today he gets out-coached by a second year HC. I think Tomlin’s ship has sailed at this point.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

As we all know there are those that will answer yes to this.

It's always a good bet to take the negative here.

It's the smart bet that we don't win another SB under Tomlin.

Just like it's a smart bet to say changing the HC doesn't lead us to another SB win.

                            Winning SBs is unlikely.

Because the QB is much more important than the HC, right? In wins AND losses.
