    Jealous

... of the way the Ravens can run the football.

What would it take for us to be doing so well with that by next season?

making the O-line and the D-line the top priority - either by draft or Free agent. I know they tried with Kendrick, and maybe there is still potential there - but it has to be a laser focus on the 5 OL IMO......

we rushed for 77 yards against Tompa Bay.

        Ravens ran for 233 yards.

but Baltimore has an unfair advantage over us, they don't have Matt Canada as their OC.

The KEY to the Steelers offense is if KP can develop into a franchise QB. The Steelers can have top WR's, OL, or defense around the QB. The NFL is a QB driven league. It's that simple for me.

agree we need him to be a franchise QB. But that draft is over. Now let's protect him while he learns and ease his transition with a superior rushing attack.

Just because I want us to be able to run the ball like they can?

No way it would be "easy" to become a Ravens fan, and no way I could ever do it.

I happen to think it could only help our rookie QBs development if we had a potent running attack.

Carry on with you Jealous perceptive. I am not jealous of any team. SORRY I AM A PITTSBURGHER. I AM NOT JEALOUS OF OTHER TEAM'S ACCOMPLISHMENTS. I have pride in my team's accomplishments. I have respect for other team's accomplishments. I believe that most fans will understand my perspective.

Education Buzz, THE NFL IS A QB DRIVEN LEAGUE NOT A RB DRIVEN LEAGUE. ENOUGH SAID. THE GIN TALKING TO ME AT THIS POINT BUT I KNOW THAT MOST FANS WILL UNDERSTAND. QB IS THE WAY TO THE FUTURE OF THE STEELERS AND NOT A RUN GAME. THE RUN GAME IS A SUPPLEMENT TO THE QB IN THIS ERA OF THE NFL.

No need to shout. I understand what you are saying. I'm not saying we have to go back to the 1960's; I just happen to think that being able to run the ball more effectively would take a lot of pressure off Pickett as he's learning to take control of the offense. Right now, our rushing attack isn't helping him out much at all.

Carry on with your jealousy Buzz. The Steelers have a rookie QB with a young offensive team with a generally stout defense. They loss come close games where a play here or there would had resulted in a win.

The goal is to have the team in position to win games. Not to have a better rushing attack or X Y Z. What did Tomlin say to Parker?

The Steelers are about winning games. The 70's Steelers didn't blow out teams every week. The 90s Cowhers teams didn't blow out teams consistently. The Tomlin's teams didn't blow out teams consistently. What do you think a team will generally face and have to over come in the playoffs? IMO it's close games in the post season and SB. Mental toughness to not give up even if you are a dominant or non dominant team. The 90s Steelers were a play or two away from defeating the 90's dominant Cowboys.

                      Maybe I am wrong?

"Is this the best that you can make" "weak ideas irritating my ears" Rakim. You are a Tomlin hater. I like to try to educate the crowd. Only a few can understand this.

Fans vs Tomlin: fans can't spell but "Tomlin Haters" know what it takes to win games in the NFL. Mos Def simple quote sample "mathematics"

Tomlin knows what it takes to win in the NFL. BB defensive minded coach won how many SBs? Noll won how many SB's as a defensive minded HC. When fans talk BS about offensive minded vs defensive minded it's BS to me. Why? I let you guys figure it out.

Sorry most fans can't translate hiphop. I can depending on where people live life.

Some folks can't translate the NFL. Example. BB coached the 2007 Pats to a loss in the SB? The recorded settting offensive Pats scored 14 points. Maybe I am a Ghost Face NFL type now you see me now you don't?

There are many different ways a team can win a SB. Ultimately, it is determined how teams perform on game day.

                            My case is rested.
