Not living up to the expectations of his pedigree. But exceeding the expectations based on last season.
We’ve got 2 guys in Bush and Edmunds who aren’t all that we want them to be as first round picks. And they both had pretty good games last week when the D was decimated.

Maybe we should collectively appreciate those 2 more.

I like a lot of the guys mentioned in this thread but the one that I kept noticing last week was Norwood. Even when Minkah is back we need to figure out a way to keep him on the field more.

Boz - this team doesn't get half the wins over the last couple seasons without him. He accounts for a big chunk of the scoring.

Kendrick Green- without that pick the Steelers might have believed the OL was good enough. His complete fail spurred them to action.

Edmunds - was a hater but I've come to see the light last season and this.

Edmunds is playing his position much better than Bush is his. I'd sign TE long term in a heart beat.

I think people better get used to the idea that he's playing his last season in Pittsburgh.

OK, now I'm pissing negativity in my own thread.

The hardest thing to figure out is the impact of injuries.

I think Bush is gonna be fine. Knees take a bit of time, but there's the mental hurdle as well as the physical that needs to be overcome.

Sometimes, guys are only as good as they are able to recover and play thru pain. And that's near impossible to predict.

Never mind a high % of WCS's posts are negative themselves. The word "hypocrite" comes to mind.

I agree that it's hypocritical of Windy to call you out for being negative since most of his posts are also that way.

maybe the internet isn't for him...

Don't want to turn this into a negative post but wasn't it Norwood who blew the coverage on the first long TD against BUF? At the least he took a very bad angle.

The difference is I won't follow you around for ten years demanding an apology.

Are you the only unhappy person in Hawaii?

                        I don't think it is.

For all ya'll arguing about negativity.
NC just gave a master class at how to be positive.

It deserves a 2 in 1 positivity analogy.

That is a "glass half full" of "lemons made into lemonade" right there.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

                          TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

Ogunjobi is definitely a player that the Steelers should look to resign barring another injury.

I will get flamed on this, but I like Spillane. Not the biggest nor fastest but has heart and plays with intensity and physicality. Always like him, a true underdog.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.
