    Fins matchup

The Fins are statistically a little better in passing O, rushing O, passing D and rushing D, across the board, than the Steelers. And that's being without their starting QB for a few games. Tua is slated to be back for this game.

It looks like we will be going with Mitch at QB.

Fins have some of the fastest WRs in the game with Hill and Waddle.

They are the only team to beat the Bills so far this season.

We are a 7 pt dog this game.

Waddle and Hill have more YAC than the entire Steelers team. Hope the D doesn't have a letdown, we most likely won't win a shootout.

This is the worry. Can the DB's do their job vs excellent receivers? Tua is going to rusty and gun shy. I think we will win. Forget the point spread I really think we will.

Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

First question is who will be our DB’s? Is Minkah back? Sutton? Do we even want Sutton back yet given how well the secondary played last week?

I think another question is pressure, can we get pressure with 4 guys? One knock on Tua, he holds the ball for a long time which is why he is always getting tagged.

Whatever happened to our secondary needs repeated, whether it was the new players or different coaching, whatever. Something changed last week and coverage was MUCH improved. It was not our imagination, the D covered the receivers like white on rice, even Spillane and Bush did. Was Flores given a higher role?

Again.. Edmunds was out vs Buffalo.

I doubt Flores was given more duties or we changed a bunch of things last week.

I think after getting humiliated vs Buffalo players rose to the challenge. Its not like we were being humiliated every week on defense until the Bucs game.

Not for the entire game, but the Jets shredded them to overcome a 10-point lead and NE and CLE bludgeoned them into submission, all in the 4th Q.

The D kept folding down the stretch in every loss. That can't be denied. Against Cleveland, against the Jets, against the Pat - the D folded in every game, and obviously got slobber knockered vs the Bills.
