Give credit when its due. Bush, Mitch, DJ and Claypool

People have dodged this man out. Myself included. But he made a great play, a play that we ALWAYS seem to give up against Brady.

On offense. DJ and Claypool stepped up and Mitch closed this thing out which was not what I expected when Sunday started.

    Great games by everyone…

    except Dotson.

What’s really sad is that Kendrick Green might be the only available option to replace Dotson.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

We need to check some practice squads around the league. That is bad to worse going from Dotson to Greene.

It's so nice when the "ball bounces our way" for a change! The defensive coverage yesterday was just on point. Receivers contested. Balls batted. It's shocking really. With a team of backups. Were these guys extra fired up? Or was the defensive scheme changed from what we've seen previously?

So many things had to go right yesterday to win. And they all did. Great return game. Clutch catches. Clutch throws. A little YAC. DJ with hands. Solid defensive performance. Held Fournette to 63 yards. Stuffed Brady's signature sneak and kept him under 300 yards and sacked him twice, hurried him more and only 1 TD.

Completely unexpected. Who is this team??!!

The execution was nearly perfect and it took that near perfection to eek out a win over an average team. Good W but not sustainable. They must find ways to stretch the field on O, get TOs on D. Explosive plays + turnovers wins consistently, everything working when there's no margin for error does not.

            This is a good post.

A lot of guys in fan's dog houses stepped up this weekend.

            I hope it continues.

It's always good to look. But it's really hard to find OL that you'd want to play in a game IMO. Look at all the guys that have been picked off our PS in the recent past. It's not like they are good players. That's the kind of guy you get IMO.

I believe all his catches were passes into his body, which he can catch, it's the balls above his head that he is so hopeless with.

yep, good game by those guys. And gotta give credit to Tomlin, Canada, and whoever's running the D.

                      Yep.

Some key grabs in critical times.

I have been hard on Claypool and very disappointed in him but I'll give him praise. He stepped up big time. His attitude was great. He even cut short his 1st down celebration on one of his clutch catches. Hopefully he continues going forward.

Bush played hard and made some plays. I like his old school fro too.

Mitch played better then he had in his first 4 games. He played with abandon. He let it hang out there.

Coach Tomlin saved his season yesterday. I said this was a historic game as was echoed by Labriola.

The highest praise goes to that defensive backfield though. A bunch of no names that played better then the guys they replaced.

Considering our scrap heap success, Greene might go full beast mode if he came in.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:
