Time to bench the following players

Smart coaches bench guys who after 1/3 f the season are not getting the job done. He should at least get fewer carries. He's a boat anchor around the offense neck. Why do you think we have so many WR runs? It's because they can run outside and Harris can't and WR running plays are more successful in general.

WR runs are a staple of Canada's offense it doesn't matter who the RB is. Also by the way we had 5 runs by wide receivers for a total of 12 yards so please spare me the outside run talk. Nobody on the team has had success running the ball outside, one because it's the NFL and two it hasn't been blocked well. You still have this bizarre notion that running outside is the running back taking the ball and just running around everyone when it is not, running the ball outside is about the samething as it is running it inside and thats blocking.

It's ridiculous, there is no way on earth as a coach you walk into that lockerroom after that game and start benching people based on stat lines.

We do it so often because 1) Harris sucks at running it wide and we have to attack outside the tackles and 2 ) We are good at it and the plays average more yards per carry than Harris. We probably run the most receiver runs in the NFL.

You have a blind spot for Harris. You can't see his lack of acceleration to the hole, or his lack of speed relative to the other stating backs. I can. Watch some other games with NFL backs. Maybe you will see what I'm talking about. You're the guy who claimed he ran a 4.40 forty, right?

I think many would argue that. Pittsburgh (still no "we," there goes your credibility...) has a robust WR room... DJ, Claypool, George Pickens... Miles Boykin, then Gunner and Sims who pull double-duty as returners... If your credibility wasn't shot by now, it's completely gone...

I would think a few DB’s might need to rest for another week after seeing how the defense played yesterday.

Harris grinding out some good runs to close out the game. Stop throwing pitches and run him between the tackles. .

This... Harris' strength isn't hitting the holes quickly, and the OL's strength isn't to keep holes open for a long time... Quick, up-the-gut runs allow the Steelers O to play to its strengths...

dude, there are a lot of positions that need to be up for grabs... seems to be the younger heyward made a few plays too - he needs to be on the active squad as #2 or 3 TE

This. He's not fast. Trying to have him run tosses to the outside is stupid.

Actually, it's not. If you are always running AB gaps it just makes the running game one dimensional. You have to throw some tosses.
