Introducing the Steelers Secondary to #10

I've said it before, and I'll say it again Khalil Shakir is the best WR of the 2022 draft class. Yes, I do agree that Pickens is very good but Shakir is better imo. Shakir has a higher football iq, is a better route runner and has the best hands of the class. He makes catches that no other human can make including Pickens. Now I will admit that Pickens is better in the blocking department. However, Shakir will never pout and be a cancer in the locker room like George Pickens.

Shakir is line to possibly start his first game on Sunday. So if he does start, I want to introduce Shakir to Minkah and the rest of the secondary. Minkah is the best Safety in coverage, Shakir has superior combat skills and exceptional body control. Who will win this battle? We'll find out tomorrow!

Love your enthusiasm for Shakir. They guy does have great hands & is explosive but he doesn't have the talent that Garret Wilson has in his pinky. You can't be the best WR in a draft class if you have average speed & can't take the top off a defense. Shakir will have a great career in todays NFL spread offense & dump & run league though. Especially 2022 which was a very deep WR draft.

Yeah Skakir is good, but he's no George Pickens! That guy can be a special player.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

Shakir is a decent player but I highly doubt the "The best WR of the 2022 draft class" is going to be stuck on the bench behind Jamison Crowder and Isiah Mckenzie.

Who does this guy even play for?? What has he done?? How many snaps has he been on the field for?? If he's so good, he'd be noticed more... And if he's not a Steeler, go sell your Shakir jerseys in the "Inside the NFL" forum... No Steeler fan's buyin' it.....

Your assertions of "go tell in the inside the NFL forum" is beyond stale and old. No one cares when you make this assertion, at all, so why don't you just cram it? NO ONE cares.

I was talking about combat catches in which Shakir caught the ball between 3 Steelers players in the secondary, one of them being Minkah. He also beat Minkah down the sidelines.

Shakir's the other Pickens calibre WR you mentioned? I'd try to get him after 2022, paired with George and let them be targets for CJ or Hooker. Cleaning up after Tomlin isn't fun but that's the job....

Shakir and Pickens are both great WRs. Shakir's PFF grade is 70.4 and Pickens has a 70.1 grade. They are both exceptionally talented pass catchers. I like Shakir better because he'll never cause a problem in the locker room. Pickens worries me in this regard.
