I will say this if the players around Mitch were not playing at the same intensity or energy then they can all take a hike, you don't hold back on a teammate or team. As far as fans not supporting the QB well that's what fans do no real stock in that.
Its hard to quantify effort based on QB but I think KP just has that energy. The crowd is pumped, which pumps up the players. Everything is elevated.

I think the main thing is with Kenny, you know you will have more chances to get targets because of the way he plays the game.

A friend of mine said Kenny was quoted telling the OC not to hold back once he was inserted. To me its that type of confidence that is infectious in the huddle.

You saw if after the throw to Muth. Kenny gets up and jokes with the guy who just knocked him on his ass. Dude is a baller. When you see that you have no choice but to try and up your game. Hopefully that confidence continues the rest of the season and we see some magic

That's what I like about Pickett and that specific play to Muth... Outside of that he has physical tools the question is can he develop into the franchise like Ben, not be Ben but to be that type of QB. I don't think Mitch was going out to lose or not giving effort especially with the garbage OC and HC and OL. Like I said before I think we could have stayed pat with Mason upgraded the OL even more. Once Kenny is the guy and it's all on his shoulders it's all on him and as a fan I'm not holding back good or bad.

I noticed that and wondered what KP said to that massive DT that just ran him over. Did he say "That was fun?" It appeared he might have. But I agree, that was something a baller would say and how he would react. KP sure doesn't seem like a Nancy boy with that reaction to getting levelled. Let's just hope he doesn't have that happen to him too often.

We got more than one coach who's a joke. But Pickett, I'm excited to see what he can do.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

Just give him the keys and see what you have before the next draft. MT is what he always was, so nothing more to see there.

And he can get outside run for yardage, picking up first downs. His arm? Well, the deep pass to Claypool was under thrown and showed a below-average arm, but we deal with that later. It is unfortunate that the receivers cause the interceptions and two of them we not on the QB.

More on how Pickett transforms the offense over Trudsiky. ( spelled that way unpurpose ).

Pickens has come alive. He's our #1 receiver now
, not the overpaid and inconsistent-handed Johnson. He's the # 2 receiver. Pickens will bring the big play ability to the team. The Steelers badly need that. Not that Johnson is bad at what he does, but we need short passing too, and he is quick and runs nice routes. And we have a talented tight end who will be given a chance now to operate over the middle, giving defenses another thing to think about. This is a re-birth of the Steelers offense, Trubisky plays not to lose for the entire game! Fantasy geeks might want to pick up our new #1 receiver and dangerous tight end if they are available. I didn't mention Harris is the passing game. His cactches are going down. Good, he wasn't a real factor anyway. And Claypool is at best or 4th option but Pickett will give the big and fast but can't separate an inconstant receiver to do his best stuff.

Pickett is a rookie, so he's going to make mistakes. Tomlin should take off the training wheels on him at let him play and develop, er I mean Canada and the other coaches. I didn't see Tomlin talking to his rookie at all! I saw a man in dark shades chewing gum, making it harder for one-on-one communication with the players. That's lack of sideline coaching.

Anyway, I don't care about losing to the Jets. Buffalo is next, and 1-4 will be a death sentence for our playoff chances. The season is pretty much lost, but the offense is going to be better, and as Pickett develops, so will the Steelers.
                Couldn't agree more.
2022's dead as Kelsey's Nutmeg and I don't know what it means either. I HATE Tomlin's 15 year self promotion crapola run and it's a shame Artie isn't as smart as Dan was and didn't 86 Coach C Plus decades ago.

Yeah, KP8 has the IT factor and I don't know what that means either.
Maybe it's why Coach C Plus isn't Coach C Minus. He got lucky.
