...of teams on our schedule that will probably bury us. They beat the seemingly invincible Bills today.
Add Fins to the list....

I think this upcoming week against the Jets may very well be the only game all season that we will be favored to win. -

I go back to this for ignorant football folks. The 2007, 9-7, Giants defeated the ,16-0, Pats in the Superbowl.
You want Steelers history? The Steelers had no chance vs the Colts in 2005 playoffs. The Steelers had their share of tough losses too.
Is it ignorance, stupidity, or the inability to learn from the lessons of sports?Last edited by BURGH86STEEL; 09-25-2022, 07:12 PM.Comment

Let's see "Mr. Ignorance." How much you want to bet on the Steelers beating Miami?I go back to this for ignorant football folks. The 2007, 9-7, Giants defeated the ,16-0, Pats in the Superbowl.

Was a nice win by the Fins, but let's be honest, the Bills could have easily won that game despite being riddled with injuries all over their starting roster.Comment

This is what makes me sad... This is not what a Steeler FAN would say... A football fan, perhaps; but no Steeler Fan would utter such nonsense... on a Steelers Message board... To other Steelers fans... There's another message board... on this very site, called "Around the NFL" that's perfect for that "Eeyore-esque" nonsense... Go seed your dreariness over there...Comment

Go peddle your nonsense in the "Around the NFL" forum... You are just a football fan (not that there's anything ~wrong~ with that...) There's a place to sell that sh-tuff, and it ain't to Steeler fans...Comment

I think Sept/Oct games in Miami are a bit of an anomaly. 90+ degrees and high humidity isn’t good football weather especially early in the season when guys are still getting into game shape.
Miami is a good team. So are we. Hopefully we’ll be rolling with KP by the time we see them.sigpicComment

look at Brady’s record in Miami with the Pats.I think Sept/Oct games in Miami are a bit of an anomaly. 90+ degrees and high humidity isn’t good football weather especially early in the season when guys are still getting into game shape.

I’m never shocked when a division rival beats an opponent at home, especially in places like Miami in Sept or Buffalo in winter.Steelers 27

Also, it's a night game... So KP8 should have less trouble with the physical aspect....I think Sept/Oct games in Miami are a bit of an anomaly. 90+ degrees and high humidity isn’t good football weather especially early in the season when guys are still getting into game shape.

He has a BRILLIANT head coach... Not only has Tomlin never had a losing regular season as a head coach (a trait that puts butts in seats, even if you're selling... what are they selling?? Acupuncture?? instead of ketchup....) But it's good to have a quality PR guy as the face of the team...
It also separates run-of-the-mill football fans (not that there's anything ~wrong~ with that...) from actual Steeler lifers.... (an homage to Robert...)Last edited by TheRealTazz864; 09-25-2022, 08:37 PM.Comment
