    George Pickens Has Arrived...

The spectacular catch made by George Pickens in the Steelers' game last night made "One More Thing" on Fox News' show "The Five..." So now he has another accolade to add to his OROY award and first SB MVP trophy....

Rookie of the year on black and gold paper and in his own mind, but nothing more. He's another locker room cancer and a diva which will lead to his demise in the league. Hell he's only 3 games into career and he's pouting on every throw. Another Brown, Bryant and Claypool we have on our hands.

Every WR in the history of WRs is disappointed if they don't get the ball every time they're open, and every WR in the history of WRs is open every play, and every WR in the history of WRs will tell the QB and anyone who will listen that EVERY play... Some WR show that disappointment, some don't... Some people think "nigga'" is the N-word... some people have actually done the research by asking hip-hop singers and African-Americans (actually just Americans... I don't Identify as a Czechoslovakian-American...) and know better...
      BTW... still no "we..."

That is funny as hell. Hip hop singers are now an authority on the n-words? F'n hilarious, and it must be true because proper research starts with asking rappers about the subject, according to you. Rappers can be trusted because they have lyrics about shootings, whores, bitches, crime, and misogyny etc. Okay Tazz, whatever floats your boat!

Unfortunately you may be right about Pickens (and unlike Bryant and Claypool, he actually has huge talent). He needs to grow up, quit pouting, quit bad mouthing his QB. How does that help anyone, including himself?

Don't ask me, Prowler or Taz. I'm 84 in a few days. After Thursday's game I folded forever on the 2022 Steelers. #1 Daughter and news items like this keep me alive and in the game at all

The culture that uses the word "Nigga'" predominantly IS the authority.... Some old white dude is not... The "Webster" I believe to define "Nigga'" is the one who had a sit-com with Alex Karas, not Merriam... People who sing about shootings, whores, bitches, crime, and misogyny etc. don't necessarily do those things, but they've faced it a lot more than any other nigga'....

Do you define bad-mouthing the QB as offending YOU?? Typical... Most football players adhere to the bitchin' philosophy of, "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me..." Several listers here would be well-advised to use this philosophy...

Whatever your version of the truth is. Whatever man. I'm not buying it, and I don't agree with your thoughts in this case. It's ridiculous to think that blacks have ownership of words in a dictionary that they didn't create, and then try to claim that they only know the meaning of the word or when it can be used.

Whatever... you have the right to be wrong... Blacks don't have ownership of the N-word... They DIDN'T create it... so they created "Nigga'" so they could define it, and own it... It's a form of protecting themselves, so the actual N-word doesn't hurt as much if someone's trying to be mean...
BTW... there's not one "version" of the truth, and another "version" of the truth. There's just the truth... But, like I said you have the right to be wrong about believing it's the truth.... that's why there are courts... that's why I am happy to show you the only truth...

Whatever you want to believe man, I don't care. Your argument is not even sensible. Besides this the word should have never been used inside the Steelers locker room, especially since the league spent $250 million to fight racism. It's the same word with the same meaning and same pronunciation as the other n word. Sorry but blacks don't own words in the dictionary and they never will.

No, I define bad mouthing the QB as doing what a rookie on the Steelers has done with his action and words over the last three weeks.

Bad mouthing your QB is somewhat acceptable if you are Antonio Brown. All else is ball baggitry,

Some concern by me that he might actually have some OBJ DNA....(the fact that they kept comparing Pickens catch to OBJ's may be prescient...(there's a word for ya...).

If I am the coach, I'd make sure we target Pickens 6 times a game or more. Trubisky won't throw him the damn ball, start someone else who will! Rudy or Kenny. Changes must be made to save the season. Smart changes. If we go 1-3...the season is realistically over. How many 1-3 teams make the playoffs? I see three changes the steelers can make that can make us better with Pickens being more involved being #1. But we don't have any good offensive minded coaches and that is a weakness. Give me Sean Peyton, he'll understand.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

I get it, Joel. What's it gonna take for Artie to get it?
Maybe bleachers filled with Bags-Over-Their-Heads fans?
Maybe bleachers abandoned by fans. That's why KP8 was drafted.
