Rooney never takes the calls but he has the power to say yes or no. LOL for your lack of understanding in this matter.

That's not how it works "clueless". The Steelers ownership are involved with every decision that's made for the team. A 5th or 7th round draft has the potential to be ELITE caliber. This is why Art wouldn't hang up the phone. He is there in the draft room every step of the way.

Don't project your negative feelings of "hang up the phone" into the Steelers ownership.

Ike Taylor had a special relationship with Dan Rooney. The Steelers ownership took care of Shazier. The Steelers ownership gave Tuitt a grace period. I can go on and on. THE OWNER MADE THESE DECISIONS. This is why your are "clueless"

I agree that isn't how it's going down, more than likely these scenarios and what Kahn has to work with is worked out before the draft.

I believe that you are wrong. It's not about Kahn. It wasn't about Donahue or Colbert or Cowher or Tomlin. It's about the Steelers as an organization. This is where fan's minds fall short.

The ONLY person that has the final say over ever decision in the organization is the owner.
