    Nobody "stepped up" for Watt

After hearing the clarion call all week that various players would "step up" for TJ Watt, nobody did.

Highsmith, Heyward, Reed, Jones - none "stepped up".

Cam finished the game with 3 tackles, 2 assists, no TFL, no sacks.

He needs to get Aaron Donald's name out of his mouth.

Yep. Jones had a lot time all day. They need to figure out how to get to the QB without Watt or they are in a lot of trouble. No one stepped up today.

Couple this with an offense that isn’t point friendly. Could get ugly real fast.

        zero sacks today.

what a difference having TJ on the field makes.

I can't tell you how shocked I am that Alex didn't have any 5-second hustle sacks after the rest of the line chased the scrambling QB to him. He beat his guy a number of times but ran by Jones, who easily escaped.

He's a good complimentary player, not a lead dawg.

I understand our defensive players were probably tired because the offense was getting 3 and outs

            still

our D couldn't stop the NE rushing attack when everyone in the stadium & watching on TV knew they were going to run

back to the Charmin-soft Curtain of last season

            pathetic

Buzz, with all due respect, it's not so much the defense that's the problem. We can't run the ball and Mitch isn't getting it done. And we got no sacks on an immobile QB. That's clearly the effect of not having TJ this game.

Over a 6 minute drive to end the game. That’s with burning out timeouts too.

                    Not much pressure.

But they only have up 17 pts.

Including the 7 on the Gunner fumble.

We need to generate more pressure.

But it won't matter if we only score 14ish on offense every week.

I think it record with and without TJ in the last 2 years shows how important he is to the team.

Watt hasn't missed many games in his career, yet Tomlin is 0-5 without him. He'll heal. But we have to win a game without him. Miss ya #90.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

I thought the Pats held the Steelers pass rushers. The worst non call of the day way the blatant PI on Harris.

Ya not a lot of pressure but we held them to 17 points, and honestly the TD pass should not have been and the Gunner fumble set them up nicely. Lets be real the problem is the offense.

The Pats probably could had scored more if they needed to score more. The fumble was the turning point in the game.

A loss by 3 points and the Steelers had their share of opportunities to win.

Of course, the offense is the bigger problem with this team, like 75-80%

However, the highest-paid defense in the league can't come up with a way to get a stop when it's obvious the opponent is going to run the ball?

And Burgh is right, the Pats could have scored more if they'd needed to
