Watt played a handful of downs. Not sure on special teams.
Heyward is green and won't see the field much this year barring injury. Freiermuth and Gentry are an outstanding duo.Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!
I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.Comment

Let's see... I know I'd be re-assured if my brother was on the field if I got injured... plus Derek Watt led a gimpy Najee through the line when he was called upon to do that... and Conner Heyward threw a key block on one of the Jet's sweeps, I think... The guys announcing (despite being "never-Steeler"-ers, even mentioned it...)
Some guys who got a helmet never even saw the field...
Are you saying we should only dress 22, and have guys play ST, too?? This isn't Saint Martha grade 5-6 football...Comment

OMG, a 6th rounder made the team, but didn't dress... this is just horrible. Someone should be fired.2013 MNF Executive Champion!Comment

According to the snap counts listed on Steelers Depot -
Watt had 6 snaps on O and 22 on ST = 28
C Heyward had 1 sna on O and 22 on ST = 23
22 ST snaps was the highest number of ST snaps and a bunch of guys had that count (Watt, Heyward, Killebrew, Snell, Jones)sigpicComment

We were told Conner was the "magic elixir" that would being Canada's whole system together, or did you forget? Conner was one of the main cogs to making Canada's system work. But he wasn't even seen on the field.
He is listed as a TE: the smallest (230), shortest (under 6') TE in the NFL.
By the way, Pickens barely did any better. And he's supposed to be big time.Comment

No one ever said this.Comment

No, i don't remember seeing anything like that... I'm really not sure how anyone would believe that a rookie, backup TE would be so impactful.. I have a bridge to sell you, sir
Well, Canada's system is amazing... it has managed to shut down Claypool, Juju and a whole host of other pretty good WR - so, there's no surprise that it got the rookie in his first game as well2013 MNF Executive Champion!Comment
