but I do appreciate how you guys care about racism so much when it comes to rap lyrics. Pretty sure Sean Payton has danced to all types of rap songs.. it has never bothered you all before.

Did you write the NFL over it? Where you poutraged?

I didn't hear the "N word" being used in that clip you posted. So, now it's irrelevant if the N word is used? I could have sworn you were against of the use of that word previously. But not if Shades is dancing to it, I guess.

The season isn't over. The season wasn't over when they loss Woodson.. The season wasn't over when the team loss Ben. They fought hard to win games and almost made the playoffs. Last year didn't have the projected dline Ect ect.

Losing Watt makes the team's job more difficult but the season isn't over.

I certainly hope the players on the team don't have your quiter mentality.

Of course you hope the players won't quit, but this group is hardly that 1995 team without Woodson. That team had some what of an offense and was loaded on D. We just lost our superman.

I think it's ok to be happy and celebrate.

              Plus positivity can be contagious.

There is the whole train of though that people can fake it til they make it.

I also understand why people want/need/do keep their emotions in check and how that can be a part of the way that life works for them to keep them centered and focused and working hard to achieve their goals.

But the bottom line is everyone is different.

Everyone is driven by different values and has different motivations than you do.

If you try to make someone think like you do and react like you do, you will just drive people away from you and it generally doesn't work.

There are reasons we're all different. And we should enjoy what makes others unique versus trying to turn them into us and our way of thinking.

Another point to consider, these NFL players and coaches are way more successful than any of us at what they do. So maybe this celebrating is ok for them. Maybe there are other players on the team that need to keep their heads down and grind it out and that works for them.

And as the leader/coach, Mike T will probably be most successful by connecting with guys based on their strengths and capabilities. And by all accounts he pretty much does this. I'm sure he acts differently with different groups of players within the locker room based on their needs.

I also appreciate there's different points of views on leadership and how to get the most out of others. And on that level, we should also consider maybe Mike T is doing the best to use his strengths which are different than the strengths of a Bill B for example. That's ok they're different. Neither style is better or worse per se, but it may impact different players differently so you probably need to surround yourself with the right players and coaches to get the most out of them so you compliment one another. ie. it helps having Tom Brady or Ben or Kenny Pickett as your QB

I know that this team won't quit.
Other players can step up and play well enough to help this team win.

i thought you asked about white guys using the word... Lemming offered up Foxworthy and Rock... then you changed the subject. So, I suggest you first accept that response as a beat-down on that question... then we move on to the league campaign.

Yep, songs with that word shouldn't be played by anyone. Certainly not in a professional locker room that probably has NFL mandated 'End Racism' signs plastered everywhere.

Some people aren't happy unless they are unhappy

So sad you have some "fans" preferring we lose so they can sound smart on a message board. Find another team if you aren't "ALL IN"
"My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"

The Steelers just beat the odds, beat the AFC Champs and division rival that has beat us the last 3 meetings and claimed our team QUIT while playing them.
And after a hard-fought win the coach is vilified here for celebrating and dancing with his players? Ridiculous!

For some the NFL = No Fun League, but only if Tomlin is the one having fun.
I’m pretty sure these posters would still find fault with Tomlin’s celebration, regardless of the lyrics of the song.

I bet you guys were not outraged at Dabol dancing and celebrating with his players after the Giants win yesterday.

There should have been "wailing and gnashing of teeth" in that locker room I tell.

So you think the song is promoting racism?
