Would have Kenny Pickett won the Bengals game?

I must admit, I was for Trubisky staring, but he has me wondering already. Is Pickett ready? I'd start Mitch for a few games but he on a shorter leash.

Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

That is a hypothetical question that can’t be answered. However, I believe 100% Kenny is a better QB than MT.

Time will tell but the sooner we see Kenny the better.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

I'd put MT on a shorter leash. He didn't throw away the game with a mistake but the offense under him didn't click, not even when the protection was sold. Don't get me wrong, I'd start MT for a few games and hope he does better.

I think Pickett’s ability to throw guys open and hit guys in stride is a huge advantage and will make the offense look much better.

Time will tell but this is exactly what I expected from Mitch.

I hope some of yinz don't go into full depression if Pickett gets in the game and he ends up looking ordinary.
When the OL doesn't give consistent protection it wrecks timing on a lot of plays regardless of the QB playing.

I didn't have a lot of faith in MT, but I never knew how terrible a passer he was. His passes are very inaccurate.

lmao.. I hope non yinzers don’t become depressed when they realize Kenny is able to overcome so called OL issues.

Mitch wasn’t always under pressure and if you watched other games you see teams dealing with the same things we are dealing with in pass protection.

I thought he didn't have a lot of talent to work with in Chicago but he's a good group of WR's / TE here. Only one game. Need to see a few more but I'm officially concerned now.

Offense can’t run the football. So we are living on borrowed time. And if we can’t run thr football, won’t matter who the QB is.

As odd as this sounds the bigger issue in my opinion is the passing game. Teams have no respect for the Steelers aerial attack and had 8 or 9 guys near the LOS. Until we pass the rock downfield consistently and accurately the running game won't exist.

I totally get that. But at the same time , the O-line is losing constantly in push battles. That’s not going to change. Their just not good at doing that regardless of the passing game. That’s what you don’t get. They can’t win man on man battles as a group. We just don’t have those horses.

until we push the rock downfield teams will continue to crowd the OL.

Get some positive pass plays and things will open up more.

We aren’t going to win smash mouth football in the trenches most weeks but we have weapons on the outside that can force teams to back up if we throw it further than 5 yards.

Again, totally get that. But…. the horses are just not there regardless. There just not.

You still don't know TRU-BISKY'S name and I just find that hilarious. Who TF is TUR-BISKY?

Are you sounding it out as you type his name?
