Around the NFL week 1

We won, it was gritty and ugly but we fought for a hard earned W.

Some other noticeable performances so we can keep things in perspective.

Aaron Rodgers had less than 200 yards and an INT in a loss.

Pats where spanked by Miami. Offense looks as bad as ours.. lol

Sequan Barkley was said to be terrible at RB. He was 18 for 164 yards and also had a 2 pt conversion.

Texans blew a 17 point lead and still tied the Colts

Lions scored 35 and still lost

Somehow the Bears beat the 49ers after being down 10-0.

a wild week 1 so far.

right now the Bucs and Cowboys have kicked 5 FG’s in the first half and no TD’s.

and the freaking Stains won on a last
second 58 yard FG.

Some thoughts,

- Atlanta's offense might be sneaky good this year with Mariota's ability to run

- Trey Lance still looks bad

- Davis Mills is a better QB than most that were drafted ahead of him

- Titans will miss AJ more than they thought

- Mahomes will be spreading the ball to everyone this season, and his game will evolve even more because of it

- Kyler Murray still pouts

- Rodgers lost his man crush, and it shows

- Justin Jefferson plays like a man amongst boys

- Bucs are schooling the Cowgirls, and Fournette is a beast

Lots of weird happenings. Will be interested to see how things shake out in 3-4 weeks.

I think a lot of week 1 turns out like a preseason game on some level since so many of the 1s get little to no action in the actual preseason.
