Championships aren’t won in September - but they can certainly be lost. Thrilled for the win and yes, that was an unbelievable performance by the defense.

But I don’t think it’s being a downer to observe the offense was anemic, the run game was non-existent and though they were gifted 5 turnovers only put up 16 points. With luck the offense will grind through this month, start to gel and become a unit that can put up 30. Because I don’t think it’s being negative to recognize in this league - you need to be able to score often.

But the view towards the rest of the season is always better after a win. And I must admit I enjoy the anguish of bungle fans this morning.

The pats game will be another struggle. They too have bad QB play but their defense is more than decent.

I can clearly see our defense getting some turnovers from Mac Jones.

Gotta wonder how effective the defense will be long term now without TJ.
