Last week the story was that many MNF Execs took shots at what looked to be easy bonus points and couldn't convert.....Week 2 offered up a Jets v. Browns game - that captured TWO 25 point Rookie Bonuses in a 1 point finish, that finished with a Game Winning Touchdown!

That's worth 140 points Execs!! And nobody was on it.



The weekly high score belonged to current league leader Lonbull, Former Champion Flippy and the up and coming TheRealTazz864! These three Execs picked the Cardinals v. Raiders down by 17, OT game that earned 65 points.

Rookie Northcoast, who spent last week in the Goose Egg Lounge - came out firing off the ball in Week 2 as he picked up the 2nd most points of the week with 50 - in the Bengals v. Cowboys / Cooper Rush special!

Good stuff Northcoast!



NBC spent the week in the Goose Egg lounge - and honestly I couldn't ask for more than NBC being last and my schedule doing fairly well!



However - looking ahead, your boy Lonbull has picked Atlanta v. Seahawks.....likely hoping for a piece of the Rookie bonuses.....because I can't imagine this is going to be a good game. I made need to make some reservations for the Goose!

Most Execs are hoping that the Brady v. Rodgers match-up will put up some points.

The real news may be that Former Champion Flippy works his way into a 1st place tie with newcomer TheRealTazz864 as both Execs enjoyed an easy 25 points with a Chiefs v. Colts 3 point finish.



Before we look ahead Three Execs, including ESPN, landed in the Goose Egg Lounge....and from what I'm hearing The Goose Egg lounge might be in Calgary now....and it's become a Hockey Bar.....



Looking ahead, yours truly, Lonbull hopes to reclaim the top spot with the Sunday Night Chiefs v. Buccaneers match-up.

Can MJG repeat his weekly high score -- as he sits with a Browns v. Falcons match-up all to himself.

Meanwhile top dogs Flippy and TheRealTazz864, along with the bulk of the pack, will be looking at the Bills v. Ravens to put up a close game and some huge points!

Turns out (as usual) Ghost was correct -- I had missed - a Game Winning TD in the Chiefs v. Colts Game adding 35 more points to those very lucky Execs.

And I also missed that the Cowboys v. Giants game was a 7 point game....getting ESPN out of the Goose Egg Lounge.

The weekly high score belonged to the two Top Dogs Flippy and TheRealTazz864 -- along with 6 other MNF Execs as their Buffalo Bills v. Baltimore Ravens match-up racked up 95 points with a Game Winning Field Goal...earning a 3 point victory after the Bills fell behind by 17!

And then Jordan Poyer came up with 2 INT's to give these Execs 15 more points with a Defensive Bonus.

Big game....Big Points....and for the rest of us...some BIG Catching Up to do!



Unfortunately for most of the rest of us - we only earned 10 points and this meme in the Chiefs v. Buccaneers game.



ESPN was the only Exec to visit the Goose Egg Lounge --- and NBC is dog last......fun week......some of us of course missed the Goose Egg Bartender....apparently her head was cold?




Looking ahead Rookie TheRealTazz864 has a 15 point bonus and at kickoff will take the top spot --- but the crafty Veteran Flippy, always optimistic for a Steelers victory could be in line for a Kenny Pickett victory....maybe a George Pickens TD on top of it all and pick up an easy 50 on Sunday!

A LOT is on the line at the top of the board ---- most of the remaining Execs are hoping for a close Bengals v. Ravens game and a big score to get us back into it!

BIG, BAD, BUZZ snatched the top spot on the board as he put up the weekly high score of 100 points in the KC v. Raiders Monday Night scrap!

Obviously ESPN also enjoyed the high score, but it's Buzz who pushed everyone aside like a sideline cameraman and became the new MNF Exec. Leader!



Also dramatically moving up the leader board is Former Champion Ghost....who (ironically) always plays VERY well around Halloween!

**I'm not kidding historically Ghost is money in October!

He along with 8 other MNF Execs enjoyed a very sweet 70 points in the Ravens v. Bengals Sunday Night Match-up. With a 15 point bonus to begin the game and a 2 point finish -- Justin Tucker, who always seems to make at least one appearance here on MNF Exec., hit a game winning field goal to give these Execs an extra 20 points on top......had he just been a few yards further out it would have given all of us an extra 5 points....stupid Justin Tucker!!



One MNF Exec spent some hard time enjoying some hard liquor with an Officer of the law at the Goose Egg Lounge this past week......and he could be in trouble of getting a repeat sentence this week.....and he might not have an objection to that!



Looking ahead Flippy, Lonbull, ESPN and Pfelix73 could be, not only in trouble of falling significantly behind in the game -- but going directly to the Goose Egg Lounge!

10 Execs took the Smart Pick with the Bills v. Chiefs - offering up 25 points, and perhaps giving Ghost the opportunity to take the top of the Leader Board.

But while everyone else Zigged......New Leader Buzz ZAGGED -- he's picking up even more of a bonus in the Cowboys v. Eagles game and with some luck, could put some real distance between himself and the rest of the board!

No one was able to gain ground on the current leader Buzz - as he along with 10 other MNF Execs picked up the high score of 45 points this past week.

Most Execs enjoyed the highly anticipated Bills v. Chiefs game --- meanwhile Buzz and NBC put up their 45 points on Sunday Night with the Cowboys v. Eagles.....Buzz picked up 15 points with the scarcely used Def. bonus as Gardner-Johnson picked off two passes for the Eagles.



The rest of the board fell back, by only picking up 30 points with a Broncos v. Chargers OT and the Bengals v. Saints -- with Burrows putting up 4 TD's.



Our leader Buzz is hoping for some HUGE Steelers Rookie action this week as he has the Steelers v. Dolphins. Unfortunately for MNF Execs we all missed the Kenny Pickett first victory bonus.

However Pickett, maybe Connor Heyward....if they could pick up a TD big points could swing to Buzz and a number of other MNF Execs.

7 Execs will be picking up Bonuses this week -- with the Colts v. Titans and Chiefs v. 49ers games.

Ghost, Flippy and Tazz all have a bonus this week and are looking to take over the top spot!

(As painful as it was for all of us to watch) The Weekly High score belonged to the Execs who chose the Dolphins v. Steelers game - Top Dog Buzz was one of the Execs to enjoy the 40 points highlighted with George Pickens 1st TD as a Steeler!



The next highest score was picked up by MeetJoeGreene with the Packers v. Commanders game.....he put up 35 points with a 2 point game....but outside of the score, not much to see here.



Two Execs ended up in the Goose Egg Lounge this past week......and as a tip of the hat towards a zero in the Brady led Buccaneers game....my understanding is that the Goose Egg Lounge went Coyote Ugly this past week.



Speaking of the Goose Egg Lounge -- there may be a VERY LARGE Halloween night gathering for our gang in the MNF Exec. None of us were able to find a game with a Schedule / Kickoff Bonus.....this could be a very rough week ahead.

Usually I like to begin the Recap with the good news.....however this week 9 MNF Execs found themselves in the Halloween Goose Egg Lounge.....I don't know what the "record" is for Execs with a Goose....BUT the VERY BAD news is there's a good chance 9 is the record...even worse there's a very good chance we may break that record in Week 9.

I forsee the Goose Egg Lounge needing a LOT more bartenders......which is supposed to be bad...but kind of isn't.



The weekly high score belonged to Reigning Champion Whatever who scratched out 15 points in the Ravens v. Buccaneers 5 point game.

Next up was current leader Buzz who (along with Papillion and Lonbull) eeked out 10 points in the Cardinals v. Vikings game.

And finally, Fordfixer picked a stellar game as McCaffrey scored three touchdowns....Throwing, Receiving and Rushing.....unfortunately that's currently only worth 5 points. I gladly would have given you 30 for that kind of anomaly.....had I ever thought you could pull off a "Hat Trick" in the NFL.



It's usually at this time I suggest we "look ahead".....for 12 of us....maybe we shouldn't.

The good news for Ghost and I is that there will only be four games to score this week.....the bad news is, 10 of us chose the same game and it offers ZERO bonus points at this time.

Meanwhile - Big Bad Buzz will continue to press forward as he and three other Execs pick up 25 points at kickoff.

Is this where I'm supposed to say that it's time for the rest of us to Unleash Hell???

Week 9 could go down as the most important week so far in MNF Exec. 2022.

Ten Execs - (MJG, Passhappy, Papillion, Starlifter, Flippy, Lonbull, Northcoast, Ghost, Whatever and SteelerofDeville) picked up the highest score of the week with 60 points in the Rams v. Buccaneers game.

With 13 seconds left in the game Otten scores a touchdown and helps these Execs earn an additional 35 points!!



The importance of these points may prove to be crucial as Leading Scorer Buzz (along withTheRealTazz864, Pfelix73, NBC) picked up 55 points in the Titans v. Chiefs overtime brawl.

Buzz and the gang had a 25 point kickoff bonus so it was VERY important for the rest of the board to be able to keep pace with the leader!



I've listed every Exec except two....they were in the Goose Egg Lounge this week....



But before you decide to mock them.....take a look at the week ahead.

Only two Execs will start their Sunday with a Kickoff Bonus.....the rest of us will be fighting for points -- something we're not usually used to seeing this late in the season!
