One year left on the contract that could be rough. Fast forward a year from now and he's on the market and we don't have to give up picks or players may be the way to go. We'll also know about our #1 Mr Bush after the season. Is he or isn't he worth having around????
But you should always try to get good players when available IMO
Stud OT, or at least an upgrade for depth. But what do we know, they specialize in ignoring OT skill. Chuk has always played below average - sign him, he's our starter. Moore played below average last year. He's our undisputed starter at LT. Who cares about our OTs, they are only the ends of our OL. Who cares? Of little importance.

I think it's more that it's difficult to get above average OTs than they are ignoring it.
This is how it ended up that Chucks was one of the better OTs on the UFA market this offseason. Really good OTs don't often get to UFA.

This! Good OTs don't get to free agency until they aren't good anymore...see AV as prime example. Yet some want to grab any "Tom, Dick or Harry" with "OT" next to their name who is floating around unsigned. Shows ignorance in the players available and unreasonable views on who we have
"My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"
Say no to Roquan Smith and his 47 PFF rating. Although, I'd give Bush to Chicago for nothing in return.
I'm patiently waiting to see if Bush returns to form, giving him one more chance this year, and no to Smith. I think I'd rather risk taking a flier on Robinson at this point.

I'd take Teven Jenkins for Bush... Not that I expect a lot out of Jenkins, but more i think Bush won't be around next year - better to get something than nothing. Especially if Jenkins is on a 2nd round rookie deal with 3 years left... it could be valuable depth that could develop down the line

All it takes is money. That $10M they are paying for a QB that isn't playing this season would come in real handy to sign OL.
Moore played below average? Shocking for a rookie LT (that was being coached by an OL coach that got run out of town)!

I've given up on Bush to be honest. I think nearly anyone would be better than Bush including Robinson.

I like your idea. Jenkins was a nasty road grader in college. I believe the Steelers had him in for an interview before the 2021 draft, so there is some interest from management.
