I'd just guess SHE KNOWS who they are, having fun with the story.

I played a pickup basketball game with Todd Blackledge back in the day at North Park.

Always heard stories about random players at pickup games at North Park when I was growing up.

I believe its true because it wasn’t until the second game that I found out it was an NFL player. He just looked like a tall white dude with below average basketball skills. Nothing about him said NFL player.

Maybe Watt but real talk.. I couldn’t tell you what Highsmith looked like before this photo and every time I see Minkah it feels like its the first time.

He has a very forgettable face.. or maybe I’m just older and don’t care anymore.

Pretty cool feltdizz. The closest I've come to a brush with fame was seeing Chrissie Hynde at a vegan restaurant she owned in Akron. (I also saw Arnold Shwartzeneger at ORD on a layover... dude is short for a Terminator )

haha.. yeah, I’ve been surprised by the size of some actors IRL.

My college roommates goal in life was to be famous and make music. He didn’t become famous but he is well known in the music industry so I have the pleasure of meeting a bunch of artist in relaxed settings.

I've hung out with George Benson, Larry Graham, Prince has heard me speak, as has Damon Wayans.

Terry Bradshaw was in the same restaurant as me once but I didn't go all fangirl so just I creepy stared and pointed.

My wife worked at a boutique in the Wailea 4 Season in Maui and it was routine there.

My brother has hung out with Magic when he'd come.
When we lived on Oahu (same Island as the Probowl) my brother would stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village every year at Probowl time. He was in his 20s fit real athletic build and could pass for a player. Not a large black population in Hawaii so in that context it was an easy assumption.

Kids would ask for his autograph and even players assumed he played so he got in with the players.

He would do that every year.

At UCLA in 1961 I was a Praetorian Guard Extra in Spartacus with Kirk Douglas and Lawrence Olivier for $17.50 plus lunch. We were s'posed to listen to Marcus Crassus' speech, raise our spears, shout "Hail Crassus" and march off to kill Kirk. But Larry kept ****ing up his lines. After 5 or 6 takes Charles Laughton dressed up like a Roman Senator gave Sir Larry the finger and they reshot the whole scene with the Yugoslavian army....

I once played a pick up game with a guy who was the all-time NBA 3 point leader at the time. I was a little frustrated because he was the tallest guy on the court and wouldn't go down to rebound and left it to my 5'10" arse. hehe
