The bears originally inked him for 3 years, $40 mil, but he failed the physical. If the injury concerns can lower that contract value by a decent amount, he could come in as a starter at DE, moving Loudermilk and Leal out of the conversation as starter, but leaving really good depth / rotation.
    I like this idea.

Hard pass on all free agents over 5 million a year that are not projected as among the better staters in the NFL. You might improve and area a little but your diminishing the chance of getting a good player in free agency, and will pay this mediocre starter in either dead money, or when someone on a rookie deal passes him / cuts into his playing time. We watching you Khan. So far so good expect you overpaid for Jack.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

As long as Jobi's foot heals, I love this addition. Then, all we need is LT help and we will be good to get after 2022. Jobi offers mass size, but also managed 7 sacks last year, which is a nice bonus.

I think his foot is healed, but will it stay that way? I love this signing, if he has no set backs Jobi is a beast.
