Pickett or a member of his family (distant cousin perhaps) must be from Virginia or Maryland or Tomlin would have never drafted him.

It's the New Jersey connection, which is close proximity to the south with Maryland.

New Jersey is bordered by New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Although, Connecticut (in the north) & Maryland (in the south) are very close to the border, but these states don't actually touch with New Jersey.

They are from weak arms, a lack of grip on the football. The out pass I'm talking about travels more than 10 total yards. More like 20-25 yards to the side line, 10 yards down the field.
