5 Steelers in trouble of a roster spot

These Steelers could struggle to make the final roster after cuts are sent packing their bags after these recent draft picks were made.

The list includes one of the "cutsie brothers" and the RB from MD who has never shown anything whatsoever. Good thing Tomlin demanded they draft the MD product. Henry Mondeaux also made the list; odd that many media says our DL is the biggest hole on the team, while others say it's crowded. Which is it?

Marcus Allen is the allusive S-LB they've been looking for ever since Shazier got hurt, and, this just in, such a player don't grow on trees.

And lastly, Mason made the list: a far fall from being the starter as he was being pimped just a little bit ago.

"Far fetching out!" as the late Peter Bergman said as part of the immortal 1960s and
1970s Firesign Theater# comedy ensemble. Can't touch that, Good jawb!

I think there are more than 5 people in trouble this year.

Can’t wait to hear people bash Tomlin for each one who doesn’t make the team and then bash Tomlin for the one’s who do make the team.

      newsflash folks..

every year we draft new players and every year we release players.

would Tomlin also have demanded they draft McFly if he had gone to Virginia, or is it just Maryland?

On draft night they had a picture of our war room. 30 people in there but someone points out how Tomlin didn’t have papers in front of him or a computer.

Yet somehow he is solely responsible for picks from VA and MD.

Does Tomlin get credit for selecting Watt?

Mondeaux was expendable after Adams showed something in his snaps last season. Allen will stay because UGIII has done ZIP. For Rudolph, it's all about being able to run the Canada offense, not the Roethlisberger one. Don't think he has quite the profile.

This is a team in transition and build for the future. Probably see a lot more churn of the roster in the next few seasons.

This team is always building to win for now. This should be clear to fans by now. This is how it should be for any organization that is serious about winning. How the Steelers approach the winning process will vary from year to year based on various factors.

I'd approach the winning process like the Steelers. Build to win for now. Address team issues within reason during the season and offseason.

He doesn't need papers because he knows the names of every player from Virginia and Maryland area schools by heart and already has them all on speed dial.

I would say that the status of the DL for this season depends on the return of Tuitt and Alualu.

If (and it is a big IF) they can both come back and perform like they used to, then you have 3 over the line starters, three young backups, and Chris Wormley - who would be a strong 7th DL, but started 14 games last season. You have a chance to rotate the kids in and get them ready for when they can take over (Adams 26, Loudermilk 24, Leal 21). This is the way a team enjoys seamless continuity from one generation to the next.

If Tuitt and Alualu are either not ready or a shell of their former selves then all bets are off. If the kids don't jump in with both feet immediately, we could be seeing the type of disaster we saw last season, and that ain't good.

These are two extreme scenarios, both very possible, and neither one is a prediction.

Tomlin wasn’t even there, he was in Virginia and they photoshopped him into the war room photo

I heard he was both in Virginia and Maryland at the same time.

How has his pet players from MD/VA worked out?

Edmunds - used a 1st round pick on a 4th round talent. Plays liked one. MD.
Trey Edmunds - He played college football at Virginia Tech and Maryland, double dinger. Has done nothing.
Plex Burress - not drafted during Tomlin era but brought back during it, hails from VA, worthless signing.
Mike Vick, same as above, hails from Newport News, VA. Added to roster by Cool Shades.
BW Webb, same, from VA. Cool Shades signed him, did nothing.
Justin Hunter, same. Added to roster by Cool Shades. Did nothing. From VA Beach.
Shamarko Thomas - from VA Beach. Another bad draft pick by Cool Shades.
Antoine Brooks, Jr. Failed draft pick by Cool Shades. Went to MD.
McFarland, Failed Shades' pick, from MD.
Darrius Heyward-Bay - added to team by Shades, went to MD.
Sean Davis, a MD product, sucked in NFL, drafted by Shades.
Haskins, from MD, added by Shades.
Derwin Gray , failed OT, went to MD, drafted by Shades.
                            Cavon Walker, FA from MD.

lmao.. that is some impressive investigations. So now its not the school, its being born in VA?

and where was Colbert in all of this? You mean to tell me all those guys in the war room are just pawns in Tomlin’s chess game? Even Rooney is in on it?

and wven though Edmunds has started every game since being drafted he is a blemish on Tomlins resume.

oh wait, Tomlin is only responsible for these players right?

Watt, Highsmith, Najee, Timmons, Woodley, Heyward and the other hundreds of players NOT drafted from VA or MD are all Colbert and Rooney?

I heard Pickett’s family bought land in VA and MD to make sure Tomlin selected him.

This is very Natural News of you.. lol.
