    Bob keeps mentioning this guy

All Combine and Draft-Related Analysis, News, Video, and Biographical Information for Tyree Johnson

Tyree Johnson, UDFA from TX A&M. Would play OLB in our system. Bob has mentioned him 2-3 x as someone who could make the team. His main weakness is vs. the run, but quite effective in rushing the passer. If we could use him only on passing downs to spell TJ and Highsmith, he could work.

Maybe a Harrison type who needs to be schooled up. Maybe Flores is in the right place at the right time for all our LBs.
"My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"

I consider Tyree to be a poor man's Alex Highsmith. Mind you there is some talent there, but he's less explosive and he's stiff. I think he'll make the practice squad.

True, but I'm hoping that Tyree has actual real skills that would actually add something to the team, other than just adding more "cutise brother crap." If he can legit add pressure to the QB, he'd be a keeper. We are desperate for back up OLB passing rushing skills. We have all the "feel good cutsie brother crap" the team will ever need. I predicted Conner would be drafted by the Steelers days before he was. How did I know??? We are 0-3 on the 1st three brothers drafted. Here's hoping Conner can change that 0-3 start on brother productivity. Watt did net 1 yard on 1 carry last year.

Bunch of the highlights are against Jordan Tucker who is the NC Tackle we picked up as a f/a.
He's got bend and the ability to get low turning the arc. He also uses his hands well in keeping the T from getting to his frame. Decent speed and a good get off. Did not see any speed to power and he'll need to develop inside counter if T overcommits outside but he'll be an interesting prospect to watch. We're thin on depth there so he'll get every chance for sure to show his worth. A guy like this has a much better chance to stick if he excels at ST play.
