    6th and 7th round picks 100% wasted

Even in the old days there were good player taken in the 12th round. Hell, Tom Brady was taken in the the round. And yet, Pgh acts as if after round 4, those picks are just peripheral party picks - just meaningless, picks to have fun with without concern for actually landing talent to help the team win.

The following are players taken after the "cutise brother crap" pick and the mind-numbing #4 QB pick or Oladokun - something no one is even bring up. Tons of OTs, CBs, DTs left on the board. The Steelers acted is if no possible upgrades were possible/needed in units that obviously needed upgraded. But hey, it's just one big party after the 4th round.

I agree, we should have just drafted the next Tom Brady instead of Heyward. Good thinking.

Straw man argument; over-simplifying to create a red herring. My point was plenty of quality players have been found after the 4th round, but the Steelers act as if they are throw away picks: a 5-10 TE (who is slow) because his brother is on the team, and a QB with zero chance of making the roster who would have easily been there as an UDFA.

Yep. At least pick players who can 1 ) make the team and 2 ) play a position of need.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

I'd suggest everyone take a look at Colbert and Tomlins draft history, especially rounds 4-7. How many of these clowns are even in the league anymore?
