Again, I"m glad we took Pickett. The only problem with it is no other QB went till 60+ picks later, and Pickett certainly wasn't rated that much higher than the rest.

Personally I was hoping for Skyy Moore with the pick, but Pickens should be good, assuming his injury is healed and the reports of his diva-ness are overblown

Leal is small. I'm sure he's a lot bigger than Jack Hamm was too, but guys he'll be playing against are a lot bigger now than then. Same with Aaron Smith. It also isn't encouraging that he got arrested for weed right before the draft. Seems we could have done better with this pick, especially if we would have traded up a few spots to get Jones or Dean

THERE is my struggle with comparing drafts - not the same number of picks. They also keep picking ahead of the Steelers every round.

I did a lot of homework on him - I don’t question size or ability… even TJ is 20 lbs heavier than he was as a rook… has the ability to be a stud.

My biggest problem was his motor runs hot/cold. May need Captain Cam on his arse to improve that consistently to prevent him from becoming a Lamar Woodley-type, “what could’ve been”
