    F Matt Canada

I'm sick of hearing that we need to find players to fit this guy's scheme. He's been an NFL OC for exactly one year and his offense stunk. Was he hamstrung a bit by personnel, sure, but he still owns a lot of it. Also, this guy jumps from jobs every two or three years, so what good will it do to hand pick his type of players if he leaves in 2023?

Take the best football player and make it work. Would we have passed on Aaron Donald in 2014 if he fell because of LeBeau's scheme?

If so, that's just bad team building.

Oh schitt, triggered by the Creed post... lol

Canada or no, I think they'd still have the same philosophy on o-linemen. They like mobile guys to play C. Having said that, I'm admitting my surprise when they passed on him in the second... Had they come away with Najee and Creed in the 2nd, they would have looked like genuises... Having said that, Muth is pretty dang good in his own right.

lmao.. more than likely Canada will be gone in a year or 2 regardless of the results.

If he fails.. he gets fired. If he succeeds, he will move on to get a HC gig.

That’s just the way it goes with OC’s. Rarely do they stick around for long stints at one team.

I’m willing to give him another year with a QB who isn’t old as hell in football years before blaming it all on him.

If we see the same offense this year we know it was all Canada.

Ane coaching gig? I doubt it. He could be fired though.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

same thing was said about BA.

If Canada succeeds this year then he will start to get interviews for HC gigs. That’s pretty much how it goes.. especially if its with Mitch Trubisky or Mason.

and by succeed I mean.. top 10 offense and a deep playoff run. Folks will change real quick and blame his first season on the OL and an old QB.
