    Most Ridiculous Mock Ever

Just ran a mock and accepted every trade proposed and took the top guy available when I didn't have a trade offer. Here's the haul.

It's 16 draft picks this year and 7 picks next year.

What do yinz think? Could be good. Might not be. Steelers should take note and consider going this route. It was kinda fun. Most guys aren't going to make it anyway so why not have a lot of picks to up the odds???

    Round 3

Sky Moore - WR - Western Michigan

    Round 4

Troy Anderson - LB - Montana State
Zyon McCollum - CB - Sam Houston State
Dominique Robinson - Edge - Miami
    JT Woods - S - Baylor
Dameon Pierce - RB - Florida
Cade Mays - OG - Tennessee

    Round 5

Dare Rosenthal - OT - Kentucky
Matt Henningsen - DT - Wisconsin
Tyquan Thorton - WR - Baylor
Lucas Krull - TE - Pitt
Shaun Jolly - CB - App State

    Round 6

Brock Purdy - QB - Iowa State
Josh Jobe - CB - Alabama

    Round 7

Eyioma Uwazurike - DT - Iowa State
    D'Marco Jackson - LB - App State

    2023 Picks

    Miami 2nd
    Rams 2nd
    Miami 3rd
    Las Vegas 3rd
    Rams 3rd
    Chargers 3rd
    Chargers 4th

Some good players on that list

some will certainly be better than practice squad

the best thing about it would be how it would set us up for next year's draft -- that's a lot of ammo to use or trade with

Brock Purdy might be the sleeper in there.

Too many picks, most would be cut - no place on the roster or PS.

I was thinking the same thing.

There’s a bunch of guys in there that have huge upside potential.

And I thought of next years QBs are gonna be so much better, we’d have 7 extra picks to use to go up and get just about anyone.

Most draft picks end up cut anyway.

I get it’s way too many players. I just accepted every trade.

If I was selective, I could have accepted a few less. Believe it or not, I had close to 20 picks in next years draft at 1 point. Then a lot of the trades were including some of my picks from next year and they whittled me down to 7.

I was seriously wondering if the Steelers took every trade offered if they could get a haul of picks like this. And I totally get it was overly extreme.

                Flippy,

For fun, I ran a mock on the profootballnetwork simulator ... I quit trading after I got to draft position #52

Here's the haul of players & picks I came up with:

                Travis Jones, DT, Connecticut
                George Pickens, WR, Georgia
                Quay Walker, LB, Georgia
                Nicholas Petit-Frere, OT, Ohio State
                Mario Goodrich, CB, Clemson
                Sincere McCormack, RB, UTSA
                Miami 2023 2nd
                Washington 2023 2nd
                Cleveland 2023 2nd

Not bad for this season & would set us up big-time for next year

About as unlikely as the draft you posted, I'm sure

I like this draft and again realize how there's no way we come away with decent picks and great picks for next year too.

I just ran one of my more interesting drafts with the most unique outcome so far:

                  Wyatt
                  Ridder
                  Ojabo
                  Dotson
                  Moore

                  2023 TB 5th
                  2023 AZ 6th

Somehow I inched back slowly amassing more picks than I have to date getting a bunch of 2nd round picks. The one big adjustment I made is I picked instead of trading when I saw a guy at or near the top of the list.

I feel like I would have wanted more players than I got here and I'm definitely missing some positions, but I feel like I could look back on this draft and it has the potential to be phenomenal.

Flippy, you most definitely are the most entertaining poster on this board. That truly was the most ridiculous and fun mock ever. I'm going to try the same and see what happens.

I haven't looked at his game tapes but Purdy is interesting that far down.

if the site allows it. counter those trade offers with 1st rounders for next year.

i did one where we came away with 3 first rounders and 2 second rounders in 2023
