SD reporting 'Spoon will be re-signed soon

SD reporting the Steelers will be signing 'Spoon very soon (rhyme not intended).
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

imo he's the most important of our own free agents to re-sign.

I agree especially since Haden is expected to leave. They still need to look at CB and SS.

I'm really hoping we can re-sign hum at a good price.
I've rewatched a number of Steelers games on NFL Network, especially the late season ones when he was a starter and he was outstanding. Not great in the run game, and he's been inconsistent in the past, but if he is comfortable in our system and can consistently play as he did the last part of the season, he is a good CB.

I'd love to see them pair him with Charvarius Ward from KC on the outside. Ward is strong against the run, a physical, competing CB, and could really solidify our CB group.

Fortunately it's a good year for strong safeties. And of course since Maryland has one we'll be picking that young man about 3rd or 4th round.

                If he's from Maryland, that's a cinch
