    Anyone Betting on the SuperBowl???

I was looking at the odds and you can win $100 by betting $500 that the team that wins the coin flip will defer.

I was surprised you can make that bet. Seems as close to a sure thing as there is.

I was looking at the average bets over the last couple years and it’s been averaging close to $150M in bets.

If everyone made this same bet with all $150M, Vegas would likely have to pay out $30M and the betting public would have a huge house edge imho.

i know there’s no guaranteed bet, but doesn’t everyone defer the kickoff?

So maybe it is a risky bet?

I just suspect both teams in the SB want the ball to start the 3rd Q.

It feels like a 99% chance theyd both defer, but I haven’t looked at historic numbers. It’s a gut feeling.
