    Do you spend more/less/same

Amount of money on steeler gear/merchandise as you use to?
Do you attend more/less/same number of games as you use to?

If there is a change, one way or the other, why is that?
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

      I’ve gone from attending 1 game a year(15 years in a row )to 0 games a year.
I stopped going about 8 years ago.
My game trips were always a 3-4 day long weekend in Pittsburgh.
I stopped buying nfl licensed merchandise about 15 years ago and haven’t bought any steeler paraphernalia the past 8 years.

I'm cheap, so it's about the same at $0.

I bought a Ward jersey before Ben's first SB win.

And I have a few hats if they look good (but NFL hats are usually ugly IMO).

My guess is that this is a demographics thing.

I'd imagine that younger people spend more disposable income on things like jerseys. That's less important when you're the one paying for food + shelter (especially when you have kids and they rely on you). But who knows.

            less

after getting a few jerseys and the player either leaving or flaming out, I wait until they can hit free agency. saved me from buying bell and never bought AB either.
I'll probably spring for watt soon but can also look at my closet and choose to wear one of them. either from the dynasty years or something from the more recent years

I went to my first game at Heinz Field this year. I’ll probably go to a game every year from now on as long as the finances stay the same.

As far as gear. My sister works in fashion in NYC and her company owns a line that produces Steeler gear so I get a ton of free stuff.

I’ll still buy a hat or tshirt if it grabs me but I have never been a jersey guy.

In the 70s because of connections my family had with someone in the PR office I was able to go to any game. My mom or dad would call and let the person know that I wanted to go to the game and there would be 4 tix at will call for me, my brother and 2 friends. Sometimes they were great seats and sometimes they were nose bleed seats, a couple times we actually got to watch from the area where they served food for the local broadcast team. I've been away from Pittsburgh for 35 years so I don't get to too many games. I still have friends with season tickets so I can go whenever if I feel like making the drive (which is rare).

I only own one Steeler jersey, #47, loved Mel Blount and he was a Steeler for life. I'll probably open the wallet and buy a #7 jersey.

                          Much less.

I went to the game in Baltimore, but only because the tickets were bought for me. Also, we all thought it was the last game for Ben. My son, who bought the tickets, said that he doubts he would ever go to a game again, so let's do this one

Sad, but the passion is all but gone.

                            Way less.

Back in the early 90's thru the 2000's My buddies and I would go to as many as 5 regular season games a year and any playoffs. I remember going to see Jim Kelly and the Bills always beating up on us.

I got married and had kids, and went to less games with my buddies, but then took the wife, oldest daughter, and now my son. We just went to the Ravens Steelers home game, and we sort of said our goodbyes and thank yous to Ben during that one.

Now that Heinz is cashless, I spend less than ever before. And turnpike prices are more and more.

It's one thing being in my 20's and single and then 30's and married, and now I'm 53.... Still have a blast going, but from here on out probably 1 per year. I would like to start travelling to some away games.... Like ones in Florida. lol

You got it all wrong dude. I could care less the player name as long as it says "Steelers".

Get em ON THE CHEAP on clearance my friend. Watt??? No thanks, it is like his deal....TOP DOLLAR.

Rockin a Barry Foster after he flamed out.

Best find? Got me a sweet "Jim Miller" at Ross' for PENNIES back in the day. That's the way I roll.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:
