    Leddie Brown

Dang, the season has come and gone. Now we're all talking draft and needs. I think that Harris has shown he's the real deal, and has done so behind a bum OL. I think though (and I suspect most would agree), that he simply can't keep up the workload that Tomlin heaped upon him this year. As such, we need to revamp our backup cast of RB's. Snell just doesn't cut the mustard. McFarland, who knows? So it's that time of year when I propose my WVU homer pick. I know RB isn't our biggest need, and that's for sure. But, a talent like Brown in the late rounds or even signing as a FA if he goes undrafted, COULD upgrade our backfield in that he wouldn't be a huge drop-off when we need to spell Harris. He's big, runs with power, and probably has a bit more speed than Harris. I'll plug in some videos for yinz to ponder......

    This past year's highlights.

I like the idea of sharing carries.

Would be nice to have a change of pace guy that was a big play threat (so maybe I'd want a guy different than this?).

But I stopped holding my breath on that one a while ago

The other big advantage of splitting carries is that if your #1 guy goes down, you're not left with the Toddmann's of the world to carry the load in the playoffs.

      Jr. Season HL's.

He's been invited to the combine, so we can see his physical aspects there.

      Just a thought.

Harris can’t keep up this pace of a workload and it would be nice to have another legit rb to help.

We need to desperately fix that O-line thou or there still won’t be a run game.

I coached Leddie Brown as a youth player. He was always the best player on the field.. his nickname was Manchild. Teams were scared to death if him. Would love to see him in the back and gold. Google Wilmington Soldiers. You will see.

Cool, he was a 4 star recruit from around Philly, right?

Nice WVU Homer pick. I have him as a UDFA, and the team often brings in a few UDFAs from nearby schools. Could be a sleeper as that backup bell-cow type back for us.

Yes sir. He was raised in Wilmington. Went to Eastern Christian Academy as a Freshman. Smyrna High as a Soph. And Neumann Garetti in Philly for Jr and Sr. Year. He ws heavily recruited. But WVU was the choice all along. Him and several other kids used to go to the WVU games as their "guests" several times a year. Work out. Eat dinner with the team. It was a great time.

I’m good with not wasting a pick on a rb.
Run the wheels off of Harris. Chances are he will demand a bunch of money when his contract is up.
                    Rbs are easy to find.
Besides, don’t we already have that great rb that would spell him and have his own packages devised by Canada?
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

Watch the vids, he gains a lot of yards after contact, always falling forwards and defenders backwards. He reads his blocks well and has nice hands.

                        That's really cool.

Hopefully he makes it! Unless he goes to a division rival.

Then I hope he fails initially, we pick him up, then he becomes an all-pro.

I agree. Keep Snell and McFadden and focus on legit areas of need or BPA

ehhh, no shade but almost every highlight was at the GL and Kansas, MD, Texas and TCU are all bad defenses.

Nice size tho, will definitely look to see who drafts him and how he produces but we have a similar back in Snell.
